Well done Palace, we will rock Wembley

I remember the final in '16 & Wembley's PA system doing it's utmost to drown us out & when i watched the match the following day, the TV panning AWAY from our fans & concentrating on Manure's instead.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

We’ve had worse days I suppose

Didn’t see that coming after the first 20 minutes, we were awful

Interesting and pleasing.
Second best for the first twenty minutes but resilient. For me, the most pleasing thing was that it can work when you start Eze and Olise in the same team. No evidence to that effect until now (point about Eze coming back from injury taken). Very exciting possibilities ahead as we progress beyond Ward, Ayew and (reach for the helmet) McArthur.

In his post match interview Vieira set out the challenge for Eze.
He said everyone knows what Eze can do with the ball, but he needs to demonstrate his qualities when without the ball.
He clearly thinks Eze needs to be better out of possession in terms of getting behind the ball and winning it back.
Because we only play with one holding midfield player it does throw an extra emphasis on the other two midfielders to share the defensive workload.
Perhaps when Gallagher returns to Chelsea, Vieira could try two holding midfielders which I think could give Eze a better opportunity to flourish.

one of the most refreshing things for me was the quality and variety of subs we not only had at our disposal, but used! Especially up front. Bringing on Edouard when we did, and still having Benteke for the last few minutes, really shows how far we've come from a personnel pov, never mind the midfielders. Really gives the opposition something to think about too.

Loved how Edouard was really trying to force an attempt on goal and as PV said afterward, what this will do for competition for starting places will improve everyone a little bit more.

What a fantastic match. Everton looked good for the first 15 minutes but after that it was all Palace and just a matter of how many we would win by. Hard to fault any of our players today.

Looking forward to the Chelsea semi final although not looking forward to sharing public transport with that lot!

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

a Diamond of Mateta at the front Wilf and Olise on the sides and Eze at the bottom would be outstanding, a New RB who can overlap is our priority signing, AWB and Nketiah would suffice, and about 4/5 out

Nketiah is definate possibility.

AWB just isn't an option. Whilst it looks like he would be available in the summer, he just isn't an attacking full back (which is why he looked good under Roy). I would think Palace would be looking at Jones at Mddlesborough and Spence at Forest.

What worries me more is hanging onto Olise. Is that why we are looking at Brennan Johnson ?

Frank: Palace weren’t good. Fluke goal, lucky goal, another fluke goal. Average this, average that. Isn’t he admitting his team are sh1te by saying this? We weren’t amazing but we got the job done without any problems after the first shaky 15 minutes, and managed to win 4-0. He’s proving to be a poor manager.

Apart from Everton’s huff and puff in the first 20 minutes, they offered nothing.

Jack had nothing to do for 90 minutes, couple of simple high balls into the box that was about it.
Our threat was far greater and that was about the easiest of the cup games that we have played. Well done Palace…
