Great result…should make the Burnley game interesting…pity they won tonight…

Not sure where some of the hostility towards Roy comes from. He performed miracles at Palace and we owe him a lot. He kept us up!

We obviously deserved to win, but in fairness didn’t create a whole lot. Difference being we were clinical today.

JPM looked decent, worked pretty well, pretty mobile and some nice touches.

Wilf wasn’t great again, but took his chances very well.

Ayew made a difference when he came on, an assist and won the ball back for the 4th. He might not score but is important to us.

Only 2 negatives of the night:

Set piece goal conceded again, we look so vulnerable. Connor didn’t even bother to jump

Burnley winning. Important to win on Sat to widen the gap

Great win. Well played boys. We needed that.

I know Wilf scored a couple late on, but I still think he's too erratic these days and if we could get a reasonable price I wouldn't be sorry to see him go. He didn't exactly play a blinder tonight.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

Well done Wilf, those sort of opportunities will come, particularly near the end when the other team need a goal. I think it is worth stresssing the overall importance of having a focal point centre forward to aid the wingers game and take some of the load, particularly for Wilf, who sometimes thinks he has to do it all himself. A welcome step forward.

Let's hope we can do the same against Watford in a couple of week's time

Have to smile about the comments re Butland, I remember the same negative, in fact worse comments about Speroni, and we know what happened there, me I think Butland is going to be a class keeper, and whilst he wears a palace shirt gets my full support

Really pleased with Wilf's attitude, temperament and overall performance tonight. This is the Wilf we all want. More please.

Secret agent Roy still knows where South London is.

Make no mistake, that was a massive win. We needed that and all of a sudden 3 more wins sees us safe for next season.

The difference is we are a better team than Watford and the players do not have to be totally switched on for the full 90 minutes playing above themselves constantly and mentally it takes it’s toll, the difference against Chelsea.

We can play against Watford knowing that we can score and the game is winnable throughout.

Makes a difference to the mind set of the players.

A good win and Zaha did what he does. He can score against the lower half clubs with almost ease as he is a level above them in talent and ability. Against the top teams he probably gets a little tense as he wants to perform to prove his minerals but could try to hard at times and his ability is nagated.

A good result today.

Most impartial journalists have Wilfred as our best player tonight. Its odd how some of our own fans go on like he's rubbish and doesn't deserve to start!
Him and Olise would be the first two names i'd have down on the team sheet.

Agree 100% when he cuts out the histrionics he is a much more effective player and team mate.
