What a great appointment. Javid, the austerity chancellor who made severe cuts weakening the NHS and botched reorganisations leaving everyone in a complete mess trying to work it out for years ahead. I am surprised, after this week, he didn't get defence.

Meanwhile with the concept of collective responsibility abandoned by the current government the only real shock from this mini scandal is they didn't find some wholly innocent civil servant to chuck under a bus; with the mass ranks of tory regardless types on here seeking to justify that.
