The resignation of Ian Murray is just another example of the post interview campaigned orchestrated by Megan’s friends calling out anyone high profile who dares to counter the allegations or as in Mr Murray’s case looks to defend the body which, he represents. The wokes, in this case being ‘many’ of the journalists he represented said that his claim that the British press was not racist was dismissed as laughable! Then you had a guy called Pearce who played MM’s Father in ‘Suits’ saying initially that tge interview was insignificant during a pandemic in which, 3000 Americans would die that day of Covid. He has since backtracked sighting Britain’s slavery history and that the monarchy were racist and bigoted. Again after being called out on Twitter.
No doubt there will be more or those who wanted to say something will keep quiet.
Ian Murray ...... you should have had some balls and stuck to your statement, if necessary further explain but NOT retract and resign.
I notice that Piers has had 200,000 sign a petition that he return to GMB. Also the ITV share price has dropped by 5%.
200,000 to date want him back against 41,000 complaints and a significant nose dive in value that will have an impact on advertising revenues. Who is having the last laugh?
