Roy is all about getting the players to fit his “system” not fitting the system to his players. Combine that with players feeling fear before they go on the pitch and it isn’t a good mix.

He won’t change - too arrogant, too old, too stubborn - call it what you will but this is a relationship that’s gone stale between players and manager.

Roy is too old to change, and when players stop listening it’s a disaster waiting to happen.
