What Brighton would do for a manager like Roy right now to get them out of this mess they are in. I find it comical that Potter keeps getting branded as this genius of football management.

I agree

Big games today WBA v Newcastle and Liverpool v Fulham.

Glad it's not us.

Brighton are not playing badly and that says everything about the PL, you need something more.

And the unknown, VAR, what constitutes handball etc. can determine your fate.

I think Brighton will do just enough to stay up. I'm sick of hearing about their '' bad luck ''. Fact is that in possession they look decent albeit without a cutting edge. Without the ball they consistently are found wanting.

I'd like Fulham to stay up and I think they have a chance at Newcastle's expense. Scott Parker seems to have a solid group of players now, Newcastle look in disarray.

West Brom and Sheffield look doomed

They have suffered 7 defeats in their last 10 games and influential players Wilson,Almiron and Saint-Maximim are out injured so cause for concern for them.

Newcastle's next 5 fixtures :

A : WBA
H : A.Villa
A : Brighton
H : Tottenham
A : Burnley

I'd like Fulham to go down just so that we can snaffle some of their players.

It must be sickening, for Fulham, to make so much real progress, and then get on the end of that ridiculous handball decision. Especially after the way referees seem to reinterpret how the rule gets applied just days latter.
It looks like they have left it to late, but by the way they played in recent weeks, there is a chance for them, a sensible hand ball rule would help as the Spurs game showed.
Newcastle, look the least capable, but they have a lighter fixture list.
As ever that’s on paper.

There appears to be a consensus that Sheff Utd and WBA will get relegated and that the remaining place will be filled either by Fulham,Newcastle or Brighton, however we have to still have to play Tottenham,Chelsea,Everton,Man C, Leicester and Liverpool so we are certainly not 'Out of the woods'.

That’s true, but Fulham, have got virtually as hard a run in as us and are 11pts adrift. If we just pick up four or five points across the board , which is less than half of our average up to now, we should be clear of relegation.

Our games against WBA and Sheffield are definitely winnable which would leave us safe on 40 pts, even if we lose all our other games.

Does anybody honestly think Fulham will get 11 points more than we get in the next 11 matches?
