I know it's a long shot but can any of your pals or family pay for you and you pay them each month 1/12th. I know it's a lot of money but sometimes our friends would rather be asked and tell you they cant than find out later on that they could help out. It's not like you havent proved you can find the monthly amount. If you did that then next season you would virtually be paid up with the rebate. I know it's hard but you and your sons love for this club must be something they all know about and I'm sure they would prefer you ask them than to have sleepless nights. Go on stu you have nothing to lose I swear. True friends dont judge.

I’ve renewed mine - in a bubble with two others. With last seasons credit I thought the price was okay plus it will be good to see a live match now and again. I’m more stressed sitting at a computer screen / watching on tv than actually being at the match for some reason? And any credits to next season will also be helpful. Perfectly understand those not wanting/that can’t pay upfront larger amounts for fewer games though.

Not sure how else Palace could have gone about selling season tickets. Most clubs carried on selling them months ago. The rules for attending will be from the government, it will be up to Palace if they enforce them or not. I hope that I can get tickets in the same stand and then move to be closer to my mates, I really don't want to be sitting on my own. Heard from a friend that Fulham season tickets are on hold (no payment taken but you don't lose your seat) and if limited number of fans allowed back in then existing ST holders from last year will be put in a ballot for match tickets(which I assume you pay for at the time of ballot) Tickets will all be issued online or via an App with special assistance for those who don't have online access. Online issuing allows for tracing etc if need be. Seems fair enough as you only pay for the matches you get to see and I suppose you can always refuse your ballot allocation. No idea what their season ticket numbers are though

It seems that parish cant win. There is a huge funding gap in football that the clubs need to address. I get why Parish has done what he has done, and I'm fortunate enough to not have it financially impact me . I just don't agree with it. Once the government furlough scheme ends in October, the likelihood is that many more people's jobs will be at risk. If I thought or knew I was in that category then I would be seriously questioning whether I should be paying for a product that isn't truly actually available .

It seems that parish cant win. How about a simple option if you can renew for whatever reason, you are able to keep the option for your regular seat for next season. It would free up more seats for the renewals , same income per game as less credit at the end of the year. Let’s face it 20/21 season will be lucky to finish with or without fans given the rise in infection rate

It’s effectively an interest free loan, not funding a gap, although yes the savings on interest is a free bit of a fund. I actually just don’t want to go into a 4,000 only crowd anyway so handing over that money is even more pointless to then try and sell the 6 tickets. Someone else will go instead of me and I’ll get a season ticket for 21-22 probably. That is unless they make it difficult for us lapsed for one season fans. If they do that it might be the final straw for a lot and be the worst business decision Parish has ever made. It could start off a bad sequence of events if he’s not careful. He’s got too carried away thinking we aren’t as clued up and as sharp as he is. Edited by Rudi Hedman (07 Sep 2020 9.42pm)

It appears those want/need to pay by installments have been well and truly thrown under the bus.
