Or maybe waiting for a better offer to use as leverage to increase the Palace offer. No doubt the Agent is enjoying him or herself but Fraser will have a preferred ultimate destination which is not necessarily the one indicated by the agent.

Dazza, where are you when we need you?!

Not sure about that. Eze is CM and Fraser out and out wideplayer?

Preseason we've mostly played 442, with a narrow midfield four like the 2018/19 season. Eze indicated that the left-side of that four is where he will be asked to play. That's why I said that, rather than suggesting they're both wingers, which of course they're not. If we are going to play 442 then we need another right-sided midfielder to challenge Andros, unless Wilf is asked to play there. So far though Wilf looks our most dangerous forward player so if he stays I think he'll be up top. Fraser would give us the option of 433, but where would that leave Eze, given how Roy sets up when he plays that tactic (ie three defensive midfielders).

Anyway, we'll see soon

Forget him.

Could see Ayew RM, Eze LM, Wilf up front with whoever our striker is, or he could be given a free role to chop and change positions with Eze and Ayew as the match develops. I can’t see our other two midfielders getting much further forward than the centre circle given we will have to retain some defensive shape.

Forgot to say, that with that team we don’t desperately need Fraser and I tend to agree with Dolphin that he sounds a bit needy and very possibly Is a pain in the ass

I’m hearing that Fraser is torn on what to likes the possibility of signing for Palace & playing with Wif etc but also wants to be closer to his family in Scotland.

Looks like he could very well decide Newcastle.

That means Palace will either move for Ibe or Bright Osayi Samuel.

Ibe the favourite by all accounts heard if we don't get fraser than we would definitely be getting ibe

Is he decent and lost his way, or is he just as bang average as he has shown more recently. Have to say this doesn’t really inspire unless someone can encourage me otherwise?

Thanks Dazza, let's hope Palace will put a bit more money on the table. It always was going to be a bidding war to get him to Selhurst. Ibe doesn't seem to be in the same league as Fraser, in terms of being a proven PL player. He's probably got a lot more potential than he's shown, but i sincerely hope we don't go down the Ibe route.

Ibe's level is mid table championship at best.. I really hope that deal doesn't happen.

Can someone explain. Why would you buy a player who can’t get into a team that has just been relegated? For what purpose? And pay him over £1.5m a year??

Following Palace since 25 Feb 1978

Fraser is the first option, but if he goes to Newcastle Palace need to look at others. We can't afford Sarr, so that's where Ibe comes in as fallback. But he's had problems off the pitch too, so....there must be decent wideplayers for a decent price somewhere in the world!
