Does anyone else see the irony in this?

Other posters, like me for instance, routinely get insulted here, but because the poster agrees with the tone of the insults nothing is done to mitigate them.

Sauce for the goose anyone?

I can vouch he never sees the irony in any of his replies. Claims never to insult anyone. I suppose it depends on what your definition of insults is, clearly Wissie defines it in a different way to most on here

I make some critical observations but whilst some seem to think they are insults they aren't at all. They are simply observations. Some sarcastic certainly. Others caustic possibly, but almost all are addressed to the general. To be an insult it surely has to be directly personal and not assumed by someone to be applying to them. If anyone feels offended then that's their own responsibility. That others seem to define insults differently is up to them.

You miss the point anyway. I am not the least bit bothered by any of the many insults that come my way. I take them all as compliments which result from me touching a nerve.

The point was that ME jumped in and admonished a poster who criticised someone with whom he shares views, whilst ignoring similar remarks addressed to those with whom he doesn't agree. Indeed he often joins in the criticism.

Of course and I stand by that comment. People can believe whatever they like. It's only when they act unlawfully that they get into trouble. As racist behaviour can be categorised as a hate crime then what I said is perfectly consistent with the prior statement.

Just because I accept a person's right to hold their views does not though mean I don't find them repugnant. As I also said.

And I imagine you've seen a lot of racism living in se Asia where in Philippines and Thailand it's rife!

Firstly You insult others more than most but do it more subtly in the hope that it isn't noticed and secondly I actually share very few views with the person whom you claim I defended but whatever his views he is a prominent poster to this forum whereas the person whom I admonished is little more than a sniper.

If I was as one sided as you suggest I would have given you a yellow card for breaking rule 22
