You have to wonder if Harris will be president rather than vice, since Joe is mentally declining and very clearly past his prime. Then again Trump's not far off that either. I'm not sure when being 70+ became a requirement to be President. Strange times.

Both Biden and Harris will be figure heads. There are other people behind the scenes pulling all the strings. All they want is Trump gone and for US jobs to start flowing out of the country again. Trump for all his many faults is not a man who the corporations can push about.

But I simply cannot see the November election being anything else other than merely the opening shots in a US civil war now. Really fear for the future.

A good summary, in my opinion. It's like, "who do you want to be your mom (mum, in English) ?"

Peter Sutcliffe

Myra Hindley

spoilt for choice,...

And for all his personal stuff, Trump actually sought to get political solutions done via a business method, as opposed to military war.

Absolutely. If Biden wins then I suspect a war with Iran within 4 years. Maybe even China.

Both the selection of Biden and Harris show up the Democrats for the utter hypocrites they are.

Still, it's kind of irrelevant.

Regardless of who wins the US is going the same way.

Parts are. This idea that the USA can survive as a single entity are now, at least for me, beyond all rational understanding.

I suspect this coming election will be looked back upon as the moment when the divide starts. Neither side will accept the result as things stand.

Yep, I watched Biden speak of pulling the country together.....? If he really believes that it can only reinforce the idea that the left don't listen to the right and just their own bubbles.

The right have less of an option considering the leftist dominance of the media.

If they win they are getting what they gave out.

Exactly The Democrats need to look at their behaviour locally over BLM and the virus. Trump needs to look at his behaviour over the virus.

Trump has his flaws but the Democrats are just as guilty where they hold power.

The Democrats are worse they are deliberately destroying their cities for political gain. Trump for all his faults is really only a guy who has been a s*** politician but a largely successful president. We live in a world now where success is judged on your personal views or a remark made in private rather than the results. Pre covid you could say Trump done more to bring America together then any president the Democrats recognised this and set about to destroy the success he created since they knew pre covid he was cruising to reelection.
