That wasn’t a dreadful performance and a draw wouldn’t have been an unfair result, however at home we are at best looking at 0-0 draws. I just can’t see us scoring goals with this team.

I'm sick and tired of watching uninspiring football where we create nothing. Isnt it??? All we do is keep our shape, hope for a draw is that how football should be played???

I think the man management of the players may be causing an issue too. There is a fear to the way we play.

What's the point of playing well - like Riedewald, he's dropped for PVA - who was frankly appalling.

Roy has his favourites and his "methods" which he is so fond of quoting. These methods include

The same freekick taker for everything - and it's crap.

Three holding midfielders - which stifles creativity - they look afraid to go forwards.

Everything being defence minded.

He did a great job of steadying the ship - but as a man manager and an attacking coach we really lack anything. If we don't have the players for a free flowing attacking game - then work on set pieces.

Pulis managed to squeeze a tune out of a far worse side than this.

Fear only gets you so far - and you know you play crap in one game you will still get picked for the next if your face fits.

A sad, confusing game. First half and right up to the gifted goal, we controlled the ball as confidently as I've seen in awhile. Then came the goal, and Roy allowed tired, rusty players to try to finish a game while fresher ones languished.

Should have been 0-0 at worst, but I think we would have scored merely because our opponents were listless prior to the goal.
