A valuable point.

An excellent performance after the first half hour. Will gladly take a point in the circumstances, although if our balls into the box - both from set plays and open play - weren't so utterly s***, we could have got 3 points.

Happy with the draw today under the circumstances of injuries.

That is a point that I can respect. Just hoping that Meyer will be ok, watched that tackle a few times, his ankle gets pretty much folded in half, Fcuk Aubameyang.

So overall happy but frustrated that it's another game where we've started off so poorly cant help feel if we play first halves like we generally play the second we'd be a very decent side

This and the next game basically free hits and didn't expect anything from either. Looked grim after first half, but yet again to formula, after the dirge, a spirited 2nd half performance grabbed a good draw. COYP !!

Ayew works his socks off. Real contrast between his work rate and Wilf. Agree we wasted set pieces but we need a winger who can cross a ball.

Good point, dire game, thought Riedewald was more than useful, plus brilliant double save from Guaita.

We controlled the game after the first half hour. We just lacked the quality to finish them off. I suppose a point is decent enough. I think the wind played a big part in lack of quality today. Riedewald was a big positive today. Luka not really missed and it's looks like Tosun will offer us something different up top. It's not always easy to go and win a game against 10 men. And to all you negative people and GRUMPYMORT have a look at our injury list and the fact we are playing games without a recognised right or left back and still holding our own.

Will take that. Wilf poor today but 1-1 decent considering our injuries.
Big up the Palace!!!! |

We need two wingers who can also defend ie: Andros plus one other and then we need to get Ayew and Tosun playing off each other. Could be a dangerous combo but I’m not sure we like 4-4-2 that much. I am talking post Wilf of course.

I thought Riedewald was excellent today. Not a proper full back but could develop into a good midfielder for us
