Back from the game. Immense performance by the team....makes one feel very proud. There were periods when we had to defend but when we went forward we always looked dangerous. Let's celebrate the great spirit of this team and the fact that they are more than the sum of their parts and not forget this when individual players have a poor game.
Almost impossible to pick out individuals but Callum Wilson hardly had a kick after Kouayte replaced Sakho, McArthur was his usual brilliant self and Ayew worked so hard.
Bournemouth were really poor and it's not just us who've been sold pups by Liverpool. Think Jordan Ibe and Dominic Solanke. And while Harry Wilson can take an excellent free kick he was anonymous this evening.

From where I stood that was a heavily biased ref

In the first half multiple fouls against us waved away.

It looked like Wilf should have had a penalty late on. Frustrating

Perhaps now SP can see that we seriously need adding to this team. We all said it “ no specialist right back to cover Ward should he get injured, will come back to haunt us”

Well done to Roy and the boys ...

Correct me if I'm wrong but kelly is a specialist right back by trade. He's played centre back more often than full back for us, but he was going out of position to do so, at least to begin with.

I actually think we have more than enough at the back. Ward and Kelly at right back, PVA and Schlupp at left back, Tompkins, Cahill, Dann and sakho in the middle. Plus two pretty sound keepers.

If the piggy bank is to be raided in January then it should be for a forward.

I was in the main stand and didn’t even see a yellow card.
Maybes wrongfully. But Jeff Schlupp??? Total respect. Two great goals in two games. And both great goals as well!

Consider yourself corrected - Kelly's very much a centre back who can do a job at right back. That's from his mouth.

Well played the lads I think tonight we saw how Roy's training routines work. Down to 10 men and a makeshift defence yet they stood firm because they knew what to do.

Great result now lets do Watford.

Some of Wilf’s touches were sublime - he terrified the B’mouth defenders.

And on current form I reckon our keeper is the best in the league.

A great night. Roy's got Eddie Howe in his pocket.
Absolute beast of performance from Kouyate and Ayew.

The incident was right in front of me and immediately I concluded 'Red card'.

A terrific result as a result of organisation and discipline. To win after being down to 10 men after 19 mins speaks volumes.Jolly well done to Roy Hodgson, his coaching staff and of course the players.

That was a top class performance with 10 men for 70 minutes. You would hardly even notice that we had 10 men. Terrible decision to send Sakho off.

I hope all the Roy haters are beginning to stop hating and realise that we could be stuck with Eddie Howe. Roy is a class above.

You mean the highly regarded broadcaster and the England international who plays for Juventus ? Both talented in their fields and Eni Aluko's knowledge of the game far outweighs yours. Owen is a terrible pundit and you've picked on two women.

Dinosaur.
