Watkins would score more goals than Mateta, Edouard, Ayew, Plange added together. However I doubt we could afford the transfer fee.

Watkins has scored penalties for A.Villa but I do not know how many of the goals I highlighted were from the spot. In terms of taking penalties, he normally does not look at the goalkeeper, he looks at the other end of the pitch, turns then takes the kick.I saw him change this method playing for Brentford a few seasons ago and he skied his shot ! He also never used his tried and trusted method against W.Ham a couple of years ago and he hit the crossbar !

For Villa took 3 pens in the Premier league last season scored 1 missed 2, Including Brentford has taken 7 penalties scored 3 missed 4, He's not a penalty taker. Price now £15 million.
