0-0 - would have taken that point before KO.
Onward and upwards!

Happy with the point, delighted with the clean sheet. We will only improve, hopefully! On to Sheffield.

Good point but should have won. We are a solid team but just need a goal scorer.

All you doomsday merchants can go back into your little boxes now and wait for next week to moan.

2.5 million for Ayew doesnt look like should a bad deal now does it dooms dayers.

Goes to show if we had a half decent traditional striker we could be a very good team.

That being said with the injuries we have a point is fine.

Good result but I can’t help but think that a top quality striker would have finished at least one of the Ayew chances. Take it round the keeper and you could pass it into the net.

We've got to be appy with that..!!

With the team as announced - if someone had offered me 0-0 at full time - given the transfer window we have had and all the Wilf nonsense - I'd have snapped there hands off.!!

Get the new players bedded in and the walking wounded back perhaps things ain't as dire as we thought..!!

I think we would have been better off swapping Benteke for Zaha and leaving Ayew on. He was causing them all sorts of problems and was our man of the match at that stage.

A good result against a much fancied Everton team. Actually think the sending off worked against us, can easily be said `we couldn't beat a 10 man team at home` rather than us being able to say we got a good point against a good team.

Interesting seeing on here the Tekkers comments as the commentators on BBC London seemed to think he did well, tracked back to win balls etc. Also sounded like Ayew amd Meyer played well. I couldn't watch the game only listen so any thoughts?
