On a hiding to nothing tonight. Almost pleased that it was only 2.0. We have been poor since we lost Sakho plus players who we could trust to keep the ball well are now losing it or passing badly. Probably down to Sakho not being there to be able to play out of defence? Not sure why Benteke didn’t come on at 1.0 or even at half time as Batshuayi was terrible playing in the centre forward role? Hodgson didn’t change it at the right time unlike last Saturday? Spurs played okay but we didn’t give them problems until late on when we played a more attacking way. Not saying we should have started like that but we gave them to much respect and then it was too late.

Problem is the manager. Way past his sell by date. What was the game plan? Hold out for a draw? Silly really. When our manager concedes inferiority before the match what does that do to the mentality of the players?? The palace problem is we have a manager who is much much inferior to the player talent he has. Toy had no ambition short of staying up and retiring on that. Hogwash. I’m pissed!! He has to go or we will lose most of our players

Get a grip. It was men against boys out there, we were completely outplayed the same way they outplayed Liverpool in the second half on Saturday.
Just except the fact they are a lot better than us and played at the top of their game tonight.

Nope

We played into their hands with awful tactics again and predictable starting line up.

Don't understand that excuse about a lot better if that's attitude then why bother to turn up for half the games in a season.

Remember we beat Man City who are a lot better then us and better then Spurs so it's not all about that simple minded thought.

As others have said if you lose you lose at least have a go we didn't even look to be trying tonight and it's been like this for a lot of games this year almost like the players got over hyped for cup run which again we failed at due to poor tactics.

Roy needs to adapt he is so rigid this sometimes works but a lot of teams have sussed us out now with him playing same way with same players (his sticking with players or using them wrong really annoys me Mayer keeps sticking him in defensive roles and Schlupp is a joke he sticks him all over the place)

Next why is Benteke not getting a proper chance giving the guy like 10min is pointless

1) Batsman hopeless. Get rid (a mercenary).
2) Our midfield players (particularly Luka)do not move forward with the ball at their feet. They stop dead and look to pass. This halts forward momentum and gives the opposition time to regroup.
3) We need a set piece coach.

That's it for the time being.

That last bit is very concerning but I think possibly the way it is.
I posted a while ago that a draw is his first ambition but a 1-0 defeat isn’t too bad.
Bloke is a lost cause and that will be all of our loss if he stays next season.
we will go down if our stars leave.

How can we possibly hope to hang on to Zaha and AWB with that approach. I couldn't bring myself to watch the second half as just knew what was going to happen and guess what - it did! If I'm blessed with predicting the future then so are 10,000 other palace fans who were watching that.

Same as Chelsea at home, Man Utd at home. Its as if Roy doesn't realise that hes actually got a decent team, and if we could be more attacking we'd get more results.

You'll be forever in my family's memories and it was an honor and privilege to play and lead in the red and blue
Yours sincerely

s

This is tgd thing that a noted me most. It wax pretty obvious after about 10 mins that we needed someone up front who could hold tgd ball up. Benteke mag not be scoring, but he knows how to do that. Bats was useless today.

Dare I say it was more entertaining under Pardew. There are certain ways to get beat, the manner of defeat against Watford, Brighton and even more so tonight are utterly shameful. Roy won't go though, and next year will be the same, finish 16th, lose a couple of our top players and fail to replace them - repeat.

Dont let Cabaye go

I really can’t understand fans like you folks,

As the old saying goes... the if you can’t support the team when it’s losing, you can’t support the team when it’s winning.

we are in our biggest winning streak ever..

Happy happy JOY, JOY!

Not sure it's the players

1. Roy has never had a prolific striker. He's too isolated, as was Benteke.
2. Seems like an instruction, but we don't use our only player who can find a pass. Which helps explain point 1.
3. Down to the manager.
