You'll look back in 10 years while we try year after year for the miracle to get us back up and think - what was it all for? Those wembley days, that's what. That's one view but the alternative are the memories of years of top flight football playing against some of the best players and teams in the world

who do some of you support Crystal Palace or premier lge, the ones who only what premier lge are you going to stop supporting them if they win F.A. Cup and get relegated, from acorns big trees grown, the more trophy's you win bigger the support bigger the income. So stop this must stay up at all costs,I dont want us to be abit player to fund the bigger clubs, i want us to grown staying in the premier with no trophy's thats no ambition. So come on Palace win the cup lets get trophy,s in our cabinet,so get behind this cup run instead of being afraid of your own shadows

Too many what ifs and maybes. Live for the day, enjoy the moment. Let’s hope we can have 2 big days out at Wembley and have a trophy at the end of it.

You might have noticed that we have never won the cup before and that might have something to do with the fact that we have spent the majority of our existence in the lower leagues where your players are usually bang average. The best chance of winning any cup is staying in the Premier League. I'd have thought that was fairly obvious. When you get to the latter stages of the cup, you must have been taking it half seriously. Clearly, the club believes that we have the players to have a cup run and get enough points in the league. Otherwise, we would be out already. A long cup run always has a knock on effect for fixtures and player performance and we are nowhere near safe yet.

I fail to understand / justify the correlation between aiming FA Cup / Europa League and relegation. When we consider this year`s experience, lack of decent striker has much more impact. It is obvious that neither FA Cup nor Europa League is the reason why Palace is only 3 points above danger. These 2 targets will definitely help to have mindset-shift to evolve club`s experience rather than having a mindset of avoiding relegation only. I see and understand sample of Wigan and Burnley but are we confident that FA Cup and Europa League are the only reason? Especially in recent income increase in EPL, i would prefer to stress managements to use source to build balanced / efficient squad. Afraid of 5-6 extra game sounds to conservative for me. I am much more `best training is a real game` guy. I can drop the appetite for FA Cup next year if we make it to Europa League group stage By the way, i hope and assume we will be out of danger zone totally by 10th of March before Watford game. Min 8 points out of 12 until then please. (Leicester, Utd, Burnley, Brighton) Edited by blackheatheagle (19 Feb 2019 12.04pm)

It baffles me that some would be happy for us to achieve Premier League mid table obscurity year after year. It's a dull existence - look at Charlton 10 years ago and where they are now. What have the likes of West Ham, Everton and Leicester got to play for? Their seasons are over already. Surly there is far more excitement/drama being a yo-yo team. Winning a trophy and playing the next season in Europe is fairy tale stuff for a club like Palace. Should we get relegated and never come back up then so be it, we'd have had our day in the sun. Quite frankly I couldn't give a toss if we played in the Premiership or League 2, I go to watch Palace, not the opposition.
