I thought Raheem's reaction on scoring and post-match interview were superb. He is turning into a really mature young lad, especially after the abuse he has had to try and contend with, both here and abroad. Why the f*ck he shouldn't be allowed to react to clear racist abuse in 2019 is beyond me. Racist abuse in 2019 is news, whether you like it or not. And the fact you've put 'racism' speaks volumes btw. Players of old ignored it and it almost disappeared. You obviously don’t know that. They’re an irrelevant nation and supporters and best ignoring. Same for the Russians and anyone else.

The media exposure has only increased the frequency. Also. In some countries, there are very few Black people. It is therefore hardly surprising that there is a rather immature attitude toward them as it was in Britain in the sixties and seventies. We can't expect a whole culture to change overnight because of a few sanctions.

They've got to start docking these countries poonts. Fines and stadium closures don't seem to work.

Raheem Sterling spoke so much sense in his interview and loved his reaction when he scored. He also showed who the bigger is by wearing a Montenegro shirt at the end of the game.

There is bound to be more antagonism toward other ethnicities in countries where most people are the same. Obviously, FIFA could deny home games to these countries but that is allowing the actions of a few stupid people to dictate. If I was earning 200k a week, people could chant what they like at me. They would be of no consequence.

It is therefore hardly surprising that there is a rather immature attitude toward them as it was in Britain in the sixties and seventies. We can't expect a whole culture to change overnight because of a few sanctions. This is simply true. There is nearly none in my home country. First year i moved here and my mother visited me, one day she told (just a daily chat) `i have seen a black lady today in the market but she was beautiful etc etc` and continued the story. I told her that this is simply racist because she needed to express the color and worse, she said `but` after while expressing that the lady is beautiful She couldn`t figure out what was racist about it and never after she agreed this sentence was racist. My Polish colleague at work also said that her mother was shocked about diversity in the office and used some offensive comments about them. However, those are 60+ year old traditional ladies who were raised in closed environment decades ago. I think it is obvious to expect from new generation who is engaged with all speedy communication nowadays to get over this bias. And this (racist offense) happens in Spain, Italy as well and as international games are where we need to apply international law (or common sense), there shouldn`t be any difference between racist offense and throwing an item to referee.

This is what he did up until the incident at Chelsea. That was the final straw and since then I think he has spoken eloquently, and correctly, about the abuse he and others received. If you get endless abuse just for doing your job, irrespective of how much you are paid, you will eventually react. The fact it's for the colour of his skin, something he has no control over, just makes it even worse. Ignoring it won't make it go away. Highlighting it, punishing those responsible harshly, and education will. By saying 'ignore it', you're part of the problem.

I disagree, you think the fact that docking them points and giving them less of a chance of qualifying for european championship or the next world cup wouldn't be a deterrent? I think it just might,i don't think we should give Montenegro tickets for the return match at Wembley either. They've been charged today which is really good.

Greater exposure has produced a greater frequency. What happens in Montenegro has no bearing in Britain anyway. That is a separate issue. I completely accept that as a White man I cannot experience life through the eyes of a Black person, but I do know that when you are rich and successful, you don't need to be worrying about a few dickheads on a terrace in some other backwater. A bit of mental maturity is required all round I feel. SKY and the other commercial media outlets don't carp on about this stuff to stop it. They do it to sell advertising and push their White man bad agenda.

I already know what I think. Well obviously. There was a racist incident last night Maybe try that when there hasn’t been one recently and see if that holds water Sky in over reporting massively high profile racist incident less than 24 hours after it’s happened shocker Also immigration, again, really? What you can do is send a message that won’t prevent racist attitudes amongst some of the crowd but it will make them think twice about publicising them for 90 minutes. And I see nothing wrong with that. Even if it ends up with people self policing not because they are anti racist but because they don’t want some utter moron screwing it up for everyone else. Same goes for clubs with t***s that run on the pitch and lamp people. Ban, fine and points deduction. Same same. As MC Skibadee once said, Deal with the matter, Deal with it proper.
