You’re statements and the irony of the comments in your post (picked upon immediately by Only 10 a year) are priceless and one could almost feel sorry for you.

You stick blindly to typing your own sentence over and over, ‘He was a Centre Back’ whislt ignoring what others have told you, the video clips of him playing on the internet (some even linked to this thread) The fact that he played at Full back for virtually every other club in his history and now conveniently, since I posted the full history of his squad numbers, you say they aren’t relevant either!

I would strongly suggest in the days when Muscat was playing then Squad numbers were completely relevant and the fact he was always assigned Number 2 (Not 3/4 or 5) again speaks volumes.

In answer to your other accusation I clearly stated that whislt maybe ‘not the best’ he was certainly effective, as no one liked playing against him. It’s all there for everyone to see so again, as others have said, stop trying to give a false impression of what other forum members have posted.

You haven’t answered the fact that he played at Full back for us, Full back for Wolves, Full back for Rangers, Full back for Melbourne and Full back for Australia. The fact that other people have told you on here he played fullback for us and Never played at Centre Back in a back four. The fact that every clip on YouTube of all his tackles shows him playing at Full Back and the Palace seasons review video’s show him palying for us at FULLBACK and the fact he was routinely assigned the Right Back Number 2 shirt!......Everywhere!

I don’t expect you to admit you were wrong, people like you don’t. I will also happily let you have the final say, as I know you will need to.

But in fairness to other members on here, who are probably losing the will to live, I will draw a line under it and just say I don’t need to rely on Google for my information as at the time Muscat was playing for us I barely missed a game, home or away....and I saw first hand the position he played.

I didn't call you a liar, I challenged your statement that you called SP personally to remain in your seat as a fib, which I stand by.

I said that Argile Old boy's statement regarding Hodgson was insane and ridiculous (not he himself) and on reflection I can appreciate why he might have taken that as an insult and so apologised, as is appropriate.

There's a lot of people on here who confuse opinion with facts.

It might not be liked, but I am correct. Whether he played makeshift RB for us on a maximum of 20 occasions in the 96/97 season when Gordon was injured and Edworthy shuffled to LB, he is well documented, and listed across the internet, as a centre back.
