Camarasa deal still seems to be inching its way forward and we seem to have seen if Burnley? McCarthy is a very different kind of midfielder who Hodgson seems to rate, so hopefully it’s an additional signing rather than instead of?

Apparently Roy wants 3 signings, left back, right back and a striker. Not sure where this leaves us here. This signing would be a disaster IMO, adding an aging injury prone player to our existing crop. If we pay good money for Mccarthy I'll be extremley disappointed.

Apparently Roy wants 3 signings, left back, right back and a striker. Not sure where this leaves us here. This signing would be a disaster IMO, adding an aging injury prone player to our existing crop. If we pay good money for Mccarthy I'll be extremley disappointed.

If McCarthy is so good why isn’t anyone interested in buying him? Because he isn’t any good and always injured and they are trying to give him away. We were connected with him in the PAST. He is no longer worth his wages let alone a fee. And as for Tosun, yes we were interested, in the PAST, when his agent brother was making out him to be some super striker because he scored some goals on the CL qualifying rounds- the equivalent of the FA Cup 3rd round. Since then Everton got mugged and everyone can now see that he is not actually very good. It amazes me how anyone can even start to justify taking on these bags of s***e. Or am I living on another planet?? Even offering then was an insult to intelligence. Following Palace since 25 Feb 1978

Didn't he say in his interview he wanted 4 "and then we sold Wan Bissaka so now it's 5 without the goalkeeper"? or have I misunderstood?
