If my memory of reading Charlie Buchan's Football Monthly serves, Belle Vue, their previous ground used to have the longest (or was it the widest) pitch in the Football League.

I'm sure Willopedia will confirm or deny.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Biggest bar I’ve ever seen in an away end. And they served all the way through the game , was a pony game , went for a p*ss on 30 minutes and stayed at the bar TIL the 2nd half.

I thought that sort of thing was only possible at cricket matches.

Great draw. Will be a tough game - they’re doing well and look pretty good to me. Matches against lower league opponents are what I love about the cup. It was great when we were lower league - to draw a top division team - and it’s great to play them when you’re doing well. Keeps you honest, in my opinion.
Hope they give us a decent allocation. Can’t wait. Much prefer this than Man Utd or Chelsea. Proper club.

If we burst out the traps, zaha on fire we will be way too much for them. They will be nervous too and trying to play their football... if so, we will be too much for them. If we let them play, it'll be bad for us as they'll only get more confident.

If the rules are followed 100% then allocation of away seats will be 2300 =/- a couple.

It’s almost the perfect draw. We are better away than we are at home and you’d have us down as favourites to beat them. Also, they’re decent enough to have to take seriously. I’m gutted to miss it as I’m on holiday, would be all over this. Hopefully it will televised.

With one of Chelsea or United to go out, this is a massive opportunity. Similar strength team to the Spurs game needed. If we can pick up 7 points from the Saints, Fulham and West Ham game (big if) priority has to switch to the cup.

Don’t think I’m gonna sleep tonight!

Could go to Doncaster for a holiday

Zaha has some green grass in front of him here. Finds Ambrose
not a bad effort ooooooooooh! what a goal by Darren Ambrose absolutely stunning strike!!! And, Crystal Palace lead @ Old Trafford.

Unbeaten in their last 8 Home games covering league and cup.
Only lost 2 out of their last 10 league games.
This will be no walkover, it is a tough game.

Haven't they been a bit of a bogey team for us over the years?

We haven't beaten them in our last 6 games at their ground going back to 1975.
The last time we beat them 'Oop north' was way back in 1960 in League Division Four.
