Yes rationally the wheels would need to come off in a serious way for us to be in trouble. 3 points would've been useful but hopefully it won't come down to that kind of margin at the end of the season.

4 points from city and Cardiff, good turnout. Not losing to Cardiff was more important than winning as we had the unexpected 3 points from city imo. We move ahead of some and we don't lose ground.

Our defence is 8th in the Prem (goals conceded), our attack is 16th (goals scored). No prizes for seeing where the improvement is desperately required. 0-0 today is what you'd expect from a team (Palace) with an excellent defence and no striker in a game where we didn't score a wonder goal or one from a set-piece.

The bottom 3 got walloped today and we have a 7 point advantage and considerably better goals difference. Good to see Connor back, he has been seriously missed. So why do Palace have 30 attempts and nothing to show for it? The Palace of before would have gifted the opposition a late goal.

Fulham didn't get walloped and should have won, they got a point which is not the end of the world for us..

Four points from two games. Wickham having 30 minutes. Decent play and except for a couple of loose balls very excellent defence. And don’t forget Warnock knows us and how to stifle attacks. So many positives. That said we should have got three points!
