But let's not write off Roy too soon

He is superb, it's our players inability to kill off games of late
Not a manager issue

Howe already turned us down. Not sure why he would consider us now, after more seasons of relegation scraps and lack of stability.

RH will be around for another season and a half at least, I wager even if we go down.

Consistently conceding late goals is a mental issue! It is up to the management and hierarchy to equip the players to not have fear or mental weaknesses on certain topics. Such as playing without Wilf Zaha. It is the manager's job to coach the players to have mental strength AND it is his job to make subs late in games when legs are tired.

These cup matches given the draws we've had ought to help with the matter of playing wilflessly. Unless of course we manage to f*** one up.

It's also his job to address on the training field particular technical weaknesses of the players, such as not being able to hit a cow's arse with a cannon at three paces, or putting crosses into the box that are more likely to result in six runs than a goalscoring chance. Oh, and when it is and isn't safe to bugger about with the ball in your own penalty area when facing the massed ranks of the Holmesdale with three opposition forwards on your back.

It's his job to notice when someone's s***e (not mentioning Sch^H^H^H any names).

This will be very unpopular but I say get Sam allardyce and sammy lee back in ,imo they have unfinished business with us and we could even do what Everton did and get him on a short term deal maybe ?

I just get the feeling that Hodgson will not start next season with us if we get relegated.

But it is far too early to consider relegation - there is a long way to go and we all remember our revival last season when all seemed lost !

Willo, I thnk you've had a whack on the head. You'd better go to A&E.

weve all seen this movie before in the last few years, and it ends up expensive everytime, weve now burnt through almost every available PL manager who would join us.

roy will keep us up, no need to change a perfectly good manager...there is nobody better we could bring in.

I wouldn't replace Roy with another manager, instead I'd employ a giant root vegetable, I can't decide between a beetroot or a carrot though. Any one got any better legumes?
