The way it's going Fulham will need to dedicate one of their stands to hold all these new players. One upside is they may not be as prepared for Saturday in terms of a settled team. We looked very organised in pre-season and will perhaps be in a stronger position against them than we might be in a couple of months when they've bedded in their new team.

I'm leaning more towards wanting both Fulham and Wolves to fail and go back down after the spending sprees they have gone on.

No promoted side should be using a premier league amount of annual turnover for player purchases before they've even kicked a ball, let alone received a penny of the money.

Wolves only had a turnover of approx 25 mill last year!

Why, because they bought stacks of players? The newly promoted teams HAVE to spend big and early as they need to adapt to a completely different world where what took them up may not be what will keep them up.

Everton supposedly spent well last Summer and flaked badly. They are rather sad club. They see thre transformation of Spurs and think I'll have some of that. They thus invest vast sums in order to break into the ECL... but just seem to take one step forward and then one step back.

Liverpool are now a top 3 fixture. These purchases will probably push them into second.

No because they have brought in players who look like quality. Look at over half the players these clubs have brought in and the majority of the premier league would want these players. Also plenty of clubs have come up and shown you don't have to spend anywhere near the amount these clubs have

According to Sky Sports Ayew IS NOT one of the outstanding 10 deal sheets that have been submitted.

I suggest whoever is disappointed with this window needs to take another look.

Most importantly, Roy and his team still here.

Next in importance, don't lose sight of what we already have. This squad finished the season superbly, should have been top half (f*ck Chelsea) and have enjoyed an excellent pre-season. With 2 notable exceptions, they are all still here.

Next we fought off predators for one of the country's most coveted players and he remains to terrify opponents.

Of the 2 principle players who left:
Cabaye replaced by Kouyate.
RLC replaced by Meyer.
Both potentially upgrades (?)

Add Ayew to the strike force/flanks and Guita as new number one (with Hennessey upping his game and snapping at his heels) and we look SH1T HOT!.

It was the Fdb debacle and injuries that did us last season. This season, as others have said, I reckon our B-team could stand up to at least half the teams in this division.

I agree with you completely and that's what worries me. I'm not used to things looking this promising and running this smoothly. I hope this stability lasts and we can push on and not worry about a relegation battle this season. Can't wait for the season to start now

Me too. 5 things I wanted.
1. Zaha to stay....tick
2. New goalie..... tick
3. Strong athletic box to box midfielder.tick
4. Creative midfielder (which we've been missing since we were promoted)...tick
5. Versatile, hardworking centre forward...tick.

Also got rid of a bit of deadwood...

Would possibly have liked a CB as our other loan, but great endow for me.

I’m not saying I’m disappointed with the window but Cabaye and Kouyate are 2 completely different kinds of midfielders

I think Meyer replaces Cabaye
Ayew replaces Loftus-Cheek
and kouyate is another solid defensive midfielder
