Not sure what potential you see , he ain’t a lb , not physical enough to be a cb , is quite tidy as a dm , but he’s shown nothing in any of his games for us to say he would be better than those named , even his passing range is very average , Lukas is vastly superior. Roy and ray have seen far more of him than you or I and they don’t seem to rate him very highly.

Why do you keep comparing him adversely to others, he is a different type of player, RH spoke very highly of him you are assumptive.

I can't see why Swans want him when he clearly does not want them.

It is like Eagles signing a player who just does not want to be here, SP would never do that surely.

They probably will bully him out though.

In a couple of months time, after a couple of defeats and a mounting injury list, we can repent at leisure.

And contemplate the coming relegation battle with the usual last minute panic.

Maybe once too often.

We will be nowhere near relegation this season.

Swans have a complete re-vamp, only recognise Olsson.

West Brom with their stars, just got beat at home to Bolton !

Swansea’s top scorer last season and probably biggest earner not even on the bench....he’s off somewhere.

I’m sorry, but I think that’s utter nonsense. I agree, maybe with the idea that he wasn’t ready to slot in at CB. But I don’t think it’s beyond the realms of possibility that he still has a future as a ball playing defender. Those attempting to defame the Ajax academy clearly haven’t done much research on its history, recently and historically.

He has all the attributes to be an excellent holding midfielder either way, what he lacks in “LETS f***IN AV IT” qualities, he certainly makes up for in positional awareness and technical ability.

As for Luka’s passing ability being better, I personally think that’s laughagble, but there we go. A game of opinions, I guess.

As for the last point, a good manager for us in one season doesn’t rate him very highly therefore anyone who voices support for him, and players of his “ilk” is wrong. Alrighty then

We're the Arthur over ere!

I have read that comment in each of the 5 close seasons that ended in relegation from the PL.

Get rid of your quality players, get relegated.

And there we go the real reason you rate him , because he’s from the famed academy , he’s shown nothing in a Palace shirt to suggest he’s anywhere near as good as you think he is , hence why he’s off to the championship.

We haven’t got rid of our qualities players , Riedewald would struggle to make the bench this season.

You’re showing quite a lack of respect to the recent, current and new midfielders and centre backs at the club there.

And this positional awareness and technical ability is no good if you cannot make up the ground when required because you’re too immobile.

I’d be all for keeping him on in the development team or on the bench in the slight chance he may develop from being good in what’s now a second rate football league country into a player who shows his presence in a league and positions he plays he needs to. But he’s an asset we may have to offload to fulfill other areas of the pitch.

We can’t have everything.

What do you think will aid his development more:- playing regular football in the Championship or playing for Palace's development squad as that's what it may amount to

He made his competitive debut for Ajax in 2013!! End of 2013 admittedly but that is still over 4 and a half years ago!
So stop talking about youth and developing. If he is considered not good enough then let go, but lets not pretend he is a junior who needs developing on loan.
