Well do you actually provide anything other than Parish is great, analysis or criticism is tosh and signing Sakho was good value if he plays and what happens is inevitable or unavoidable? I purely find it strange the number of Holers (many are trolls) (fans) criticising Parish non stop.

Just googled and there's a few versions. Apparently Guaita believed his buy out clause was £3.5 mill and the club said it was £7 mill. If that particular report is to be believed. by Ed Maylon so should be accurate

It isn't the manager who negotiates and deals. Roy will give the name of the players he wants to Parish, sometimes Freedman giving Roy the names first. The 'transfer policy' is not the manager's responsibility. He will meet with the chairman to discuss what the chairman agrees or provides that allows the transfer policy to be.
Therefore the POLICY must be driven by the manager. BFS chose to get 2 left backs in rather than a striker and Pardew asked for and got Benkete. Yes the chairman determines the overall budget and negotiates the purchases and contracts but the policy is dictated by the manager. Budget and policy are not the same thing. 100% of British managers would walk if they didn't have final say in who their club buys and (to a lesser extent) sells. If a manager says they want player X and they are in budget any decent chairman would support their manager's opinion as if not why give them the job. SP has over the last few years been pretty supportive of managers in that respect. Obviously you've never liked SP so consider our current unbalanced squad all his fault.

Also the 4m figure is more than likely what they will have accepted considering he was leaving at the end of the season.

Roy also had a wafer thin squad, yet got 3 players with no experience in the top leagues in Europe. Yes they might come good, but two of them aren't even fit with 10 games to go. Amadou, Guaita, Sorloth and reports suggested others were left until the last day. We've had 4 months to get things ready for the transfer window. Roy's interviews gave the suggestion it wasn't him handling the transfer business. So it is down to D*ugie and SP.

According to reports we bid the 4 As for the rest of the January window I’m glad we didn’t spunk a load of money on overpriced players. January is renowned for being poor. Look at what deals actually happened. Most players are overpriced and what we spend on January has an impact on the summer. The one signing that is a bit beyond me is the loan. Bought by Benfica and straight to us. Odd. Still we could have spent nearly £30 million on tosun We (SP) has made mistakes but he has backed managers. As much as they’d like? Maybe not but we’ve certainly spent a few bob. Now we have or are in the process of correcting those mistakes people still moan. Football is fickle. Not so long ago huw Jenkins at Swansea was a hero, now hated. Same for the Saints board. FSG etc

It would be lovely wouldn't it, but this isn't fantasy league football, it is reality and in reality we are doing well in my opinion to be where we are. So before anyone else moans on here about anyone and everyone in the management structure of our club, take a step back, draw breath and try and think of the reasons why transfers and other significant matters haven't been dealt with exactly the way you want them to, rather than just simply complaining.
