Not really as she has nailed her colours to the mast, like JRM has. Corbyn hasn't as npn stated. He's being very coy about stating what he wants to happen, so he can flip-flop to whatever is deemed the popular position to take nearer an election.

Jacob Rees-Mogg has admitted he incorrectly claimed that Jeremy Cobyn voted against the Good Friday Agreement. Asked on Channel 4 News whether it was worth sacrificing peace in Northern Ireland for Brexit, Mr Rees-Mogg replied: “I am unaware of any Brexiteer who is in favour of abandoning the Good Friday Agreement – it’s Jeremy Corbyn, incidentally, who voted against the Good Friday Agreement when it came to parliament".

Michael Gove denounced the Good Friday Agreement two years after it had been signed, and the arch Brexiteer and Rees-Mogg’s fellow member of the European Research Group Desmond Swayne was one of the few MPs who voted against the Northern Ireland Bill at the time.
I have prepared one of my own time capsules. I have placed some rather large samples of dynamite, gunpowder and nitroglycerin. My time capsule is set to go off in the year 3000. It will show them what we are really like. |

The Good Friday agreement was essentially the British government tacitly allowing a united Ireland to happen within fifty to a hundred years. It was appeasement without the word. It made me smile when another great Tory appeaser - May said that Northern Ireland staying the in the customs union was something that a British PM could never agree to. That was hilarious.....you agreed with murderers of British people being in governance over British people.

I suspect your father brought you up before recent changes in social expectations. Could it be that Mr Mogg is a throwback to a bygone age?

I am new to Mogg - don't understand the fascination. Neither do the tories either as he has been an MP for a long time without any ministerial position. Probably transgressed in some way.

That's what I find so appealing about Mogg. I hate identikit politicians. At the 2015 election you couldn't split Cameron, Clegg and Milliband they could have led any of the 3 parties, the bland leading the bland. I prefer conviction politicians I have a sneaking admiration for Dennis Skinner, Michael Foot and of course Margret Thatcher. Mogg doesn't pretend to be a man of the people he's posh and knows it. He does have some strange ideas on certain subjects which is why I don't think he will ever be the leader of the Tory party. People sneer over the nappy changing comment but he was honest which shut down the interviewer who no doubt was trying to catch him out. I just wish more politicians were like him, most of the Labour front bench are middle class elites who pretend they are down with the people. Give me Mogg any day I think he will be an excellent House of Commons Speaker when the day comes.

Referring to the opposition leader falsely as a communist spy and falsely claiming also that he voted against the Good Friday agreement. Not exactly speaker material.
