If that is your evaluation of the strength of the danish league, I`d take everything you have to say about Sorloth with a huuuuge pinch of salt.

Copenhagen at times (certainly not this season) MIGHT have held Premiership quality.
Midtjylland and Brondby are lower level championship.
The rest are league 1 or worse.

I am dead serious. You might want to remember that FC Midtjylland have beaten and played at the same level as clubs such as Man U and Southampton in recent times.

But you are right if we look at the overall quality than the Danish League is awful! But what people don't understand is that the clubs "even the awful ones" have alot of young talents, they normaly gets cleaned up early on, but the bigger clubs such as Midtjylland can keep them since they have a owner with alot of cash (again Benham owns FC Midtjylland as well as Brentford FC)

Brøndby and Midtjylland would easily survive PL at their current level. I am not claiming them to be up there in the top, but they would survive most of the time.

You might wanna think about Sørloth going for what 15 million £ ? that is pretty much official now.

To say that the top three in Danish league is good enough to compete in PL is wrong in my humble opinion. There is a big difference in having a lucky cup run in Europe league like Fcm and competing with these team week in and out.

The Danish press a reporting that deal is almost done for 13 m £ including add ons.

Happy with this one. 9m is peanuts in today’s game and he’s young so bags of potential.

That is absolutely true. I would have happily taken Ademola Lookman and was a bit surprised the toffees have put him out on loan: but he was playing at Clowntown who are laughably s***e.

I'm pretty sure most players who compete in the PL don't get there by enrolling in Chelsea's brainwashing club and getting promoted to the first team. Most of them go on loan to clubs further down the pecking order and they either get noticed by other clubs there or they sink without trace. Occasionally you get a Bumfluff type who comes back up, gets exposed as toilet and goes back to the Championship.

Looks like fee agreed. Guardian reports 10m Euros up front, potentially 8m in add-ons. Paperwork pending..

That seems to be the case.
Midtjylland also just signed a new striker for free on a 5 year contract. This is pretty much the main concept of the club, get young talents, develop them and sell.

I will be happy with him, another striker who has played in England; preferably prem would be nice as well, but we have to cut the cloth etc. Think he will do better than Hugill, for less ££. Time will tell but if we cannot get Babacar etc then he looks the best of the others. Hope at least he gets a few minutes Sunday.
Thanks LoneWolf for the information you have provided, hope to see you at Selhurst sometime soon.

Midjylland sign Artem Dovbyk, so should be a matter of time before Sorloth is confirmed a CPFC player.

Jordan Rhodes gets passed round Championship teams like a drunk bird at an orgy for £10m+ every couple of seasons.

That is not to say it is not a lot of money for a totally unproven player.
If 15m is true, that is close to what would have bought Jorgensen from Feyenoord. A far better pedigree I would say.

Jørgensen is a great player and some might argue better than Sørloth, but not in PL. Jørgensen would however be a good signing for a Spanish team.
