Absolutely pathetic thread.
That tackle by Punch was not even close to being nasty.

He Kicked KDB to take him out, He didnt try and break his leg.

Zaha gets worse tackles against him every single game.

Absolutely pathetic answer. That tackle got Puncheon booked and out of the game for a while.
Because Wilf is fouled means everybody else can foul everybody else?
Has the world gone mad?

I think this thread is moot. Poor tackle yes but the hysteria was uncalled for. And the OP has had time to reflect on his words. Time to move on. COYP

Since he started and played most of the match 48hrs after the Palace game, surely KDB should be done for simulation (of a seriopus injury) at Palace and banned for 3 games?

And so the Christmas spirit of cracker jokes is unabated. I wonder how close the Citeh man was to being sent off? Lol

Well he didn't receive the ref, did he? Puncheon only got a yellow. Anyway we needed City to give Watford etc. a doing.

Great performance against City.

A Palace performance where (almost) everybody was willing to put their body on the line. After our great run of 8 without defeat got us back out of the hole that we had dug for ourselves, it was so important that we didn't go into a losing run after the Arsenal game.

I worry about how much the two penalty misses against Bournemouth and Man City will cost us, but onwards and upwards.

The Puncheon challenge on De Bruyne told us everything we already knew:
1./ Puncheon put his body on the line in the short time he was on the pitch.
2./ Puncheon doesn't have the quality to play in the Premiership against players like Man City have any more.
3./ It was a cynical foul designed to stop play Man City breaking away - like we see 5 times a match in the Premiership, but his lack of quality told.
4./ He is out for the season, so it is unlikely he will play for us again.

All told, he deserves nothing more (or less) than a massive pat on the back. He has been instrumental in the teams that have given us Premiership football for the last five years. His contribution has been so much more than what he has given this season.

Thank you Punch.

Everything else is just noise.

Just as a matter of interest. If KDB had got away and scored, how many fans would have been having a go at puncheon for not stopping him?

I was amazed to see KDB turned out for Man City last night and quickly set about Watford, in their faces from kick-off.

After being stretchered off against us!!

As Roy says Dann and Punch are out for this season at least, it's essential they play on Saturday and put in a shift.
