6 or 7 years back i was looking to sell an MMO game account.

An in game friend asked me if i would sell the account to him, he wanted to pay with something called bitcoins.

I had never heard of them back then, who had ? So i looked it up. A coin was worth like 25 cents, he had 1200 bitcoins, he mined them himself, and i said no thanks.

I ended up selling on ebay for $700.

Have not spoken to the guy in years, wonder if he kept them.

I ended up selling on ebay for 0.

As he owned them before Aug 1st last year he'll also have been given one BitcoinCash token, currently trading around $1,200, for every Bitcoin that he owned.
If he still has them then he's a multi-millionaire.

Buy Litecoin.

Don't want to disappoint you further but the current value of 1200 bitcoins is roughly 8 million pounds.

Life never ceases to amaze me how sometimes one simple decision can have such huge ramifications.

Just to be clear. If anyone had bought Litecoin a week ago they would have lost 14%

Trouble with cryptocurrency is that they have no real world applications.

Investors only make money if everyone keeps buying but they are buying thin air.

There are many.
The trouble with many doubters is that they aren't really sure what they are talking about hence posting s*** for the sake of posting.
Many many govts along with every major corporation around the world are adopting this technology.
But you know better?

Buy Litecoin.

When you encourage people to buy Litecoin, is that for their benefit, or a small attempt to inflate the market for your benefit?

Enough to make those vastly more knowledgeable than you or i to take this technology seriously bud, hence investing billions upon billions into the future.
Their future.

But what though?

I have made a bit from Bitcoin and a couple of others but have treated it like going to the casino.

It's not like investing on the stock market when you are buying a tiny percentage of a company.

Like the above poster said, the only reason you, I or anyone else who owns currency wants others to buy is to inflate our share.

I would genuinely like you to tell me some of the real life benefits?

Oh and Litecoin has just dropped another half a percent in the last hour!
