Everton never replaced Lukaku but the hierarchy at the club are not being blamed ! No criticism being directed at Moshiri,Kenwright or Elstone.

Actually there is, not least from my uncle from Bootle that just texted me. But it might be because their board hadnt made about 5000 major gaffs before that aswell. They put all their eggs into one basket with Giroud and got stung - sounds a bit familiar doesnt it. Difference is you can point to so, so many major errors that Parish has presided over, and I dont think the board at Everton have quite so many to point at. At least they addressed every other position very well, whereas we once again unbelievably didnt sign a keeper and a permanent signing at right back would seem pretty obvious also. Parish is not cut out for this line of work, time to move on.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

I love it when people get slagged off for moaning about Steve Parish, who is ultimately responsible for the direction and playing staff at our beloved club ? you don't have to look far, It's Parish and the board.

In my opinion they have been almost criminally negligent in there transfer policy and have learnt nothing from their previous seasons in the prem transfer market. 60 million on two players CF and a CB for a club our size is fcking ridiculous and smacks of panic buying.

We've had 4 previous seasons to remedy our short falls like Ward, Punch, Delaney, Chung, not to mention the lack of a back up striker, unless your going to count the wonder stroke of signing a 90 year old Doyle.

We are playing a 38 year old Speroni in goal whose best days are behind him, and he's still better than the buffon we have as first choice. We also have no recognised striker other than Benteke, at what point do you Steve Parish Disciples going to admit we the fans have been massively let down by the people running our club.

And don't quote the tired old bollcks of "yeah but we might not have a club without him etc etc.

It's time to sh1t or get off the Pot Parish. I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't get a striker in the window either such is there ineptness in the markets.

Loose against West Ham and I reckon that's us.

A lot of usual moaning, but no viable alternative suggestion by you at all as to who you have lined up to take over at the top.

How about a decent proven CEO from not necessarily a football background whose CV is stuffed with a variety of dynamic success stories?

It's called head-hunting.

But it will also mean Parish admitting he is not as competent at it as he thinks he is and that is never going to happen.

The question then is, who is going to do this head hunting for a proven CEO with a glowing CV. The criticism of Parish is he makes too many mistakes, there is no guarantee a new person would be any better.
Football isn’t like any industry, it doesn’t play by the same rules.

Great idea, I'm sure the CEO of either of the Manchester clubs or the Chelsea head will be chomping at the bit to get down to the porta cabins and give it a go.

Many people say this but do people really think that he didn't try and sign any? With the budget we had, the fact that we wanted to sign Sakho, the fact that De Boer wanted to get Reidewald, Loftus Cheek and Fosu-Mensah in early(ish) meant that it was always going to be difficult to sign a striker

De Boer's recommendations were only Reidewald and Fosu-Mensah. Reidewald was supposed to be one for the future and not a priority signing. RLC was identified and would have been bought in with or without de Boer being at the club.
Parish had all summer to look for and sign a striker. In fact he had far longer as he knew as early as January that Wickham would be out, Campbell would be unlikely to be offered a new deal (not good enough anyway) so there are no excuses. All other Premiership clubs know what they want and go and get it for the best price they can. Why not Palace? Because Parish always wants to trim the price down to the point where the selling club ends up saying f*** off

Reports suggesting Sean Dyche to become Everton manager.
Would have been perfect and, if Guardian is to be believed, wanted the job.

They'll certainly have higher expectations than us but would have been a good fit. Knows what he wants, who he wants and how to handle the strong personalities which was one of Pulis' and Allardyce's strengths.

Had a bad feeling about de Boer from day one and has to be said he was an unmitigated disaster. Didn't fancy any of the foreigners to be honest but FDB least of all.
