You're a fool or you don't know your football if you think other positions signed will make up for it if you have no left back or anyone taller than 5' 10'' in def mid and tackles line a 19 year old. We did the same thing again with Sakho and striker. So even if you excuse the Benteke summer, how do you excuse the Sakho summer? Oh he's fixing it isn't he? Only he can't because the window is slammed shut.

We are in this position for one reason only, the Board have failed in their recruitment plain and simple. They have failed to get adequate replacements for players clearly not up to standard that is required in the Premier league. They have failed in keeping good managers that fitted the club, in Tony Pulis and Sam Allardyce. They have instead backed absolute idiots in Alan Pardew and FDB. They bleat on about the development and academy players being fantastic, and yet we still play dross like Ward, Kelly, Sakho, and Lee. The latest boll1cks being no striker chosen from the academy, so we play a certified plumb duff up front, and substitute him for a guy whose last competitive goal scoring record was 22 Appearances for Oldham 3 goals, and 3 goals in 15 appearances for Shewsbury town of LEAGUE ONE, So despite what the "SP is God" brigade believe the absolute truth is that they have failed. That can not be argued effectively against. And I'm sorry if it offends some on here, but SP is a bulls*** artist of epic proportions. Just look at who we had a up front against Man United, and while I'm at it, that lanky streak of piss Hennesey Can Fcku off out of it as well, Jules is better and he's nearly 90. We are a joke, and a laughing stock all over the media, and what has big nose done about it ? Sweet FA is what, apart from come on the HOL radio show and talk crap. We the paying fans are having our pants pulled down and dry humped sans lub. It happened last Summer and it's happened this summer. We're always going to have dodgy spells, but adding to them last season with the first 3 games of fvck all and this hopeless period it's no wonder managers may not bother here. The illogical Frank debacle adding to it all, bearing in mind our struggles, Pardew etc bloody etc. Sorry but this was avoidable. We're not in the same shape as Sunderland or villa. This is poor handling by the decision makers.
