Nick, that Facebook post says Theresa May sat on a report for years warning that this might happen? Who said so? Just the Facebook poster?

After losing his Croydon Central seat, wasn't Barwell shuffled closer to Theresa May because he was a good housing minister?

Several sources, including the Tory MP who lead the cross party group that made recommendations years ago (that could more than likely have prevented the tragedy) said the government did not act on the recommendations and kept fobbing him off. Have a watch of yesterday's newsnight.

What struck me a lot was how everyone in the area pulled together.

Sounds like lives were saved by people who some don't want in this country.

Maybe she knows she will be needing a new address soon!

4000 tower blocks without sprinklers. Would cost on average £1100 per dwelling to install. New builds have to have them. All according to radio 5.

What price life?

Very low, Nick, very very low. You're getting carried away.

They are human beings, Nick. Those who want less than 330,000 net immigration every year may also have pleasurable experiences when meeting individuals and care if tragedy hits their lives.

You could spin this down the route of, if this is the option for housing so many immigrants then maybe it's a stark realisation of the problems of taking so many in. If they weren't in a tower in London they'd have to be placed in hull or Glasgow. How many jobs are there?
