Can anyone not see the proof of his BS? Some of us can ffs.

Either ignore his sh1t or can we not give him his own tab so he can post away as much as gets him off all day. He posts as much as Jamiemartin who gets paid to sit at a PC all day tapping Ctrl alt del in between HOL posts, only its trolling bollox.

How sad that there are those who resort to such abject hogwash.

At the end of the day all I was doing was to state my conversation with fellow supporters yet somehow there are those amongst us who feel it necessary and appropriate to make such ridiculous and risible allegations.

It's about time to Palace move forward! Leave those old recipes behind.. Marco Silva fits completely in this perspective. If Parish grabs Marco it will be a bold statement and future will show.
By the way I'm a F.C.Porto annual seater and if he comes to Porto I will be very pleased.

It will be a gamble.

The odds still have him and Mancini close. I'd prefer Mancini, but if the club deemed Silva to be the right guy for the job, I'd be happy enough - decent experience prior to the PL, did well with a squad that really did rival Sunderland's for worst PL squad last season, and potentially could really modernise our club.

I think most would agree hiring mancini with a full pre season and summer transfer window would be something very exciting. I just think if we look at it realistically, Marco Silva is a real possibility and would definitely be worth giving the opportunity to if the proven heavyweights are indeed out of our league. For the record I'd rather Silva than Ranieri!

Can't be a bigger gamble than Pardew or Warnock surely? Warnock for obvious reasons and Pardew (unlike Silva) was poorly regarded at nearly every club he managed - the Geordies did warn us what he was capable of! It's not just the demise but the after effect that was so very poor.

Yes it WOULD be a far bigger gamble.
Manager whose only real success was outside the PL with Olympiakos who win the league year on year and Sporting who are only 1 of 3 clubs to win anything in Portugal. And BOTH these leagues are hardly highly regarded in terms of quality.
So some manager nobody had really heard of before he came to Hull, and then Hull go down under his command.
So what has he really done to attract such plaudits ?

Write-only fora used to be a thing on Usenet, you would get Control to set up a newsgroup ostensibly to discuss exactly what the troll wanted to wind people up about then let him carry on in there to his heart's content whilst everyone else knew that only he would be using it. You;d have a couple of bots in there to make sure that the troll thought someone was taking notice, Of course it would onlt work for so long.

More effective was the killfile. If you saw a poster you didn't like you would just go *plonk* and the software would make the troll disappear.

The problem with the modern web forum as distinct from the newsgroup is that you have to use the software that runs on the server. I've not seen killfiles on server-side web forum software ever, but also you generally have different software, or at least a different instance of the software, everywhere, so a user can't define a set of kill rules to apply across all the different fora he uses, and you can't track bellend identities across different fora (there's no automatic means to identify that Willo here and Trolley on the BBS are the same person, even though to a human this fact is obvious).

Finally of course the technical barriers to entry for web fora are so low that any bellend with a computer can wander in and start making a nuisance of himself. Moderators police them to a greater or lesser extent.

I'm not quite sure how "maybe s***e" is worse than "conclusively proven s***e", but I'm sure you can enlighten me.

He can't be judged on the Hull situation, the whole set up there is disgraceful and he signed poor players because that's all they could get. We are a significantly better squad than they are.

I take it you mean apart from the fantastic job he did at Estoril? Oh, and massively improving the form of Hull from 13 points in 20 games to 34 in 38.

I suppose your sources forgot to tell you eh? I just googled him.

I have been speaking to a couple of Palace supporters tonight and they were BOTH totally against Silva joining, in fact they asked me to pass their feelings on to Parish !

One of them didn't have an alternative in mind, the other one was pro-Hodgson.

Freudian slip?
