fair play but when swansea team came out they had structure to their warm up, looked composed and committed, and worked together I looked at the palace team and the were all over the place, like a sunday league side the swansea players glanced over at them and clearly were unimpressed the manager has had plenty of time to get these basic components into the squad and the players are really not that bad and far better than msot of the relegation candidates its now all and only about coaching Originally posted by Den1923

It wasn't knee jerk. They'd been chatting about it and planning it for weeks. You know that for a fact then? I suspect it's more a case that the Americans fired the gun finally against the wishes of Mr Parish we panicked and went for the easy option knowing that other clubs like Swansea would be looking to do the same. If Sam was negotiating a deal before there wasa vacancy show just how much honour he doesn't have.

Lets hope it gets better soon, very soon, we have to support Sam as he is our only hope!

Warped-Pardew did the same to Hughton at Newcastle over a hand of Blackjack and a free sandwich next to Mike Ashley. Someone told me 3 weeks before Sam signed that Parish had been speaking to Sam. I don't know where he gets his info from but he's had other things right as well before we're aware of it.

Wow. Just wow. How are we THIS bad? And clearly, a new goalkeeper should have been top of the bill in the window, Henessey having an absolute shocker. This could be a season defining defeat

Well it took a while for Sam to turn it round at Sunderland but he did. Fans don't seem to realise what a mess we're in. We went the second half of last season only winning two league games and started this season with our defence in total disarray. This is Pardew's legacy I'm afraid. Today's result and performance was dis-heartening but was it really any better under Pardew? Also apportion some blame to the lame pricks on the pitch. Number of times in the relegation zone under Pardew? None. Number of bad seasons under Pardew(seasons not irrelevant calender years)? None. Number of times we were 4-0 down at home at halftime to a team in the relegation zone? None. Number of times the performance was so bad we were booed off at halftime at home under Pardew? None. Allardyce out.

Both s*** managers and both would have taken us down so no big deal. Pointless debating who should be in charge. Any manager in the world would not keep us up. Confidence has gone and we are s***. It's that simple.

We will stay up, our team has too much quality to not improve. Sunderland and Palace both will. Leicester and Boro will go Once Sakho, Luka and Schlupp get in we will be better. Thank God we won't need to use Punch, c*** this season.... People acting like this means we are down, we are only 2 points off still. Edited by speediej (04 Feb 2017 4.21pm)
