Fat heads dodgy past goes a lot deeper than the telegraph "sting, but he will keep us up so we can gloss over that. Pardew had a s*** run, FA cup final aside, but likes a bit of skirt so is the devil incarnate. BALANCE boys and girls. Happy christmas.

This is not about his ethics, yes he made a mistake when he was entrapped by a slime ball reporter, does not make him a bad Manager, in fact history proves otherwise AP was not exactly squeaky clean either. I'm sure SP has made the right judgement and please lets not live in the past lets look forward to a brighter future !

I was giving my reason as to why I'm against his appointment, and it has nothing to do with whether he's successful or not.

Since when has being a paragon of virtue been a requirement to be the manager.

Never - nor have I suggested it.

Funny really - many people don't like the guy but most people think he will pull us away from the relegation area.
I think he will organise the side that seems to have lost its way in defence.
I feel a little sorry for AP because he is not a bad manager, but for whatever reason he could not motivate the players to reverse the poor form. The same thing happened at Newcastle. Big Sam will get the team to grind out results. It may not be pretty but he will get the team to deliver the points .

I don't think 'Big Sam' is a particularly good coach can organise and hoof long balls forward but nothing special.

The defence was well organised against Chelsea ok they lost 1-0 but in that form you would have expected a heavier defeat, also Palace goal difference is -4 thats reasonable quite a gap already over the bottom 3.

So will Alladyce inherit an improving situation and Pards lose out? Cruel game football...

I have to say he won't be setting an example fitness wise he is a slob.

Fair to say that I am not Fat Sam's biggest fan you might want to have a read of this. For all his faults he has always been known for being at the cutting edge where a player's fitness is concerned.

In my opinion football in general is corrupt. Yes BFS did not come across as the sharpest tool in the box when he got hooked by that set up.

I am in general pleased with his appointment. He will get us organised and hopefully difficult to beat. Let's be honest we need points on the board and quickly to pull us away from this relegation battle we find ourselves in. He will get our team fitter and will demand concentration and organisation, something we have been severely lacking all season.

As much as I would have loved to see Pardew succeed it was clear to all that something was very wrong with his game plans, substitutions and general understanding of how to see a game through.
