Have to say that every time we've gone 2 up top we've looked even more dangerous going forward.

However, although Campbell hasn't cut it as a lone striker he has done much better with Adebayor and now Benteke causing bother in the box. Need more cover there in January though.

If it was down to you we wouldn't even bother playing our next 2 games, we would just give them the 3 points. You are concerned Pardew's feckin it up every week now and it's bothered you that you didn't see it. I come out with the same thing because Pardew pulls out the same sh1te every week. Who happens to have scored 2 goals in a row at the end of the game wins. How feckin professjonal is that? End to end for 90 mins like some 13 year olds semi final. Or defending like kids in the summer holidays in the park. He is a joke, all pundits know it and he is risking our future because he doesn't know how to prepare a team or protect points in the bag. God given right over anyone hey? We can't beat any of the dross at the bottom of the table. Not any of them, unless they switch off that week or are in awful form. Otherwise we fail. We're not talking one game in isolation. We're talking about plenty of games on the spin. And then we're talking about shipping 3,4,5 goals against the dross at the bottom of the league after supposedly strengthening the team. But hang on, he got his 'transition' excuse in early to protect himself from an early sacking seeing because he was pretty sure he was going to struggle as he did for 5 months before the end of last season, and he was right. Admit it, you doubt him as well now.

Admit it, you doubt him as well now. What is the big worry is that SP a good business person by all accounts cannot see the danger in the trend over the last 12 months, since Christmas last year we have been descending at a fairly fast rate towards the bottom of the table. We can't defend anymore, we let games slip when where are front with 20 mins or less to go and we can't pass the ball in a controlled manner from defence to attack. All this despite AP having a record (for CP) transfer spend at the end of last season. Most of the players he has bought in have not covered themselves in glory, they are mostly his old mates and players who could not hack it in the first teams at their original clubs. Is SP still going to let us slip slowly in to the championship?

It has to be a big worry that we have conceded 10 goals to the bottom 3 sides. How we kept a clean sheet against Southampton I will never know.

You are spot on, what AP cannot grasp is the first basic rule of football management, that is to stop the other team from scoring then wait for chances to come your way then score, even one is okay as along as you can keep the other team from your goal and if that fails then 0-0 is also fine and much better than losing 4-5 or 3-4!

I think it was ok. Problem is, Pardew needs more than Ok to save his job. 15 points from 15 games is ok as an average, but our next four games are Man Utd, Chelsea, Watford and Arsenal. None of which suggest that we'll be 19 games, 19 points by the new year. We've been in much worse shape this time of the season. And realistically all we need to do is sort out the defence. Going forward I think we've been very exciting. But to be in games where you've twice scored at least three goals in recent games, and only take one point is a sign of where the problem is.

5 swansea goals Ha ha ha.... I'll forgive him the four against Liverpool, they were absolutely stunning. But Hull so soon after Swansea, suggests to me the problems haven't been resolved. And its going to be a difficult 90 minutes against a merciless Chelsea team.
