sorry but SP is doing his usual dithering!

Was starting to think I was alone in my view. Seems to be unacceptable to say anything against SP on here.

How do we know it's SP choice I would say it's down to all the owners and I think AP is chummy with them all.

Usual dithering? He has got very little wrong since becoming chairman. When he has, he has learnt the lesson very quickly. He has arguably had a little luck along the way but he took his team me and got Pulis (the right man at the time), took his time and got Pardew (the right man at the time) and now we don't actually know what is happening. He may be backing Pardew, he may be finalising the details of a new manager. Let's see how it pans out.

We can't expect a running commentary

the dignified don't even enter in the game

Nah. Realistically it's going to take that long to sort out a successor so one might as well put up with him in the meantime. If he gets his s*** together, all well and good, but if - when - he gets his jotters we're in a position to bring in the new coach. OTOH an interregnum may not actually be worse than tow more weeks of this s***.

I'm not sure if Pardew meant "a year of transition" from Premiership manager to dole queue.

There is a job for him at Rotherham, he could retire there as no one would expect much from him, they would just be grateful to have a manager!

According to this, he has two matches to save his job. If we get a draw and a win, and can demonstrate the players are responding to him, that he can turn around a leaky defence, then he might stay.

TBH, it's hardly news ... zero points fro the next two games and Super Al either has to have the dignity to walk or face the sack.

The fat lady is starting to warm up in the wings.

I'm not sure if he can turn it around, most of these results have been soul crushing.

West Ham - missed penalty
Liverpool - pulled back to 2-2 then let in a first half injury time goal
Burnley - pull back to 2-2 then concede a last min winner
Man City - pull back to 1-1 then let in a late winner
Swansea - defies belief

Can the players be lifted at all ?

Liverpool and Man City would have been bonus points, but the opportunity was there. But the results against Burnley and Swansea quite frankly almost seal his fate.

He would be one lucky manager to survive this. But I just hope he isn't replaced by something just as bad like Alladyce or Coleman.

We certainly dont need Coleman, frying pan and fire come to mind!!

Unfortunately Allardyce is discredited and morally bankrupt. Unfortunately also he is the kind of clean sheet first type of manager we actually need. Surely there must be a few clean sheet first type managers in France or Germany?

SP finds decisions hard to make that is why transfer deals take so long to conclude and often go down to the wire!

Come back Bert H, Pardew is proving he is cr.p, not accepting blame. What the hell is he doing in training sessions, then after yet another defeat suggests he can solve it on the training ground . He's total Bol.oc.s , and yes I'm sure he would love the payoff hes about to get. Steve just get rid of him whilst you can, as sitting in the relegation area is doing my head in considering all the platitudes and money spending that has taken place. 58 years of genuine support from a Sth Croydon boy, with all the ups and downs, makes me realise I need to get a life again, and ditch this mob of losers.

There is nobody obviously available to replace AP at this precise moment so I think he will for this reason keep his job for the time being.
I have only missed two games this season both home and away and inspite of our current league position we are a better footballing team than last year.
The players are as much to blame if not more than Pardew for our awful defending,Delaney should come back into the team immediately, since he has been out we have gone to pot.Selling Jedi was a mistake,Soare,s car crash was a disaster, not having Remy available hasn't helped,Ledley 's recent injury has cut our options, both our goalkeepers have not exactly covered themselves with glory and all a lot of you can do is blame the manager,he can only work with what is available and hopefully they will pull their fingers out and perform for the loyal fans and the manager in the next couple of weeks.
