Not listened to the show but for a country which elected it's first black president 8 years ago I don't believe she was kept from the white house due to her gender. Nor do I believe every one who voted for trump is a racist sexist bigot either. Much more complex reasons for this . We have had Clinton democrat, Bush republican, Obama democrat and now trump so by the law of probabilities in either 4 or 8 years it will be a democrat back in. I wouldn't bet against Michelle Obama having a crack at it YES PLEASE!

Trump's surge in support came largely from white males without college degrees. Read into that what you will. Firstly I dont think there was a surge in support I think his vote was always stronger than it appeared for the same reason here polls understate the Conservative vote - because of what has been described here as "shy Tories" those that dont want to tell pollsters that they are voting conservative. Secondly from the exit polls I have seen white voters overwhelmingly voted for Trump. He won the Male college educated and the non-college educated vote easily and the non-college-educated women as well. The only demographic that Clinton one was college educated women amongst white votes. The Democrats need to take a long hard look at the message it is sending to middle/working class voters that the prefer Trump

It's not. I tried to, and had to stop when he partially agreed with a caller who suggested that Hillary wasn't elected because she was a woman. Nothing to do with her numerous criminal and immortal activities then, James. He's as partisan as is possible. Which criminal and immoral matters are they?

There must be some somewhere

The problem is that its got to run across the entire Mexico border, which includes some large lakes if I remember right, and across a number of different states. It'll have to be pretty tall, I'd imagine, and the foundations set pretty deep, and run for 1993 miles in length. Of course you'll still need to patrol it, to prevent people climbing over it, or simply knocking holes in it. The cost to build is probably dwarfed by the cost to maintain it indefinitely. Plus of course you have to accommodate for all the legitimate cross border traffic that occurs as well. We're talking billions a year in maintenance.

There must be some somewhere Around 8% of black votes and 27% of Latino according to CNN. Almost exactly the same as Romney though Clintons vote was 5% down compared to Obama.

It will be interesting to see how cooperative Congress is willing to be. Much less party discipline and he has offended a number of Beltway politicians

They voted for him because he spoke to them and gave them hope. Wonder how Bernie Sanders, who also speaks for the disenfranchised, forgotten about and left behind, would have done compared to Clinton.
