I watched them training in the Mark Goldberg era and even met him twice and the team. They did train hard I assure you.
Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |

We are actively chasing 3-2 whilst every other team is chasing 1-0. I think that is a demonstration of our sheer brilliance.

..the facts are that Mr Pardew wants his team to become better, he has achieved one half and it is because of this I feel he is having problems with the other, defending when knowing the opposition is coming (as in last season) ..is a little different to when being caught on a break (this season) ..this is totally new for our set up and our defenders and it also makes sense as to why we are having problems with other issues ..such as set play, our defenders need time. Makes no sense whatsoever.

Incredibly bizarre timing from Pardew, to come out with something like this directly after what must have been the worst Palace defensive performance in years. "The defence were awful" Infuriating actually, the more I think about it the more it angers me. Having a style of play and simply neglecting duties of your job are two very different things Pardew.

I cannot see any reason for anyone defending AP. he has had the biggest spend of any Manager in the history of CP, yet his record of the last 22 months is abysmal just 22 points from 30 games, He only held on last season on the cup final achievement. Between Christmas and the end of last season we had only two PL wins not the performance of a good manager. I would be more happy to nick games 1-0, I just hate to see my team in this current mess after the board has invested so much good money!

He now has counselling I don't happen to think AP is particularly pleasant but at the same time dragging up the same stories doesn't seem fair, especially as he has addressed them. And Den, He has had more to spend than any other and he is also based on win rate one of the most successful (Permanent manager) There are lots of stats that can be bandied around for and against. Personally I think he should still be cut some slack, that slack however is tightening by the game

E 100% right with if our unpleasant arrogant Manager was producing results, But over the past year he has not, So in this type of industry where the public pay good money and the club are in the headlights of the media, It just is not good enough, He is in a privileged position. In my opinion after 12 months should at least admit that he shoulders the majority of the blame. We need to keep this thread going until either Pardew either starts producing on a regular basis or leaves the club

Dear, Y Ddraig Goch, I appreciate your a loyal supporter but current form is what counts and a win ratio of just under 17% since last Christmas is not good my friend by any standards!

Agree, it is nowhere near good enough but the stats for this season, though still not where we would want are better.

I was watching match of the day and I noticed how hull and west brom don't sell out every game and I was mulling over our recent form and the way we play the game .the reason them 2 don't sell out is because they are boring , palace aint .
interviewer " iggy , do you think you influenced anybody?" |
