Why The Deterioration In Pardew's Performance?

Our 2016 statistics are pretty depressing I'll admit but as other posters have pointed out it's irrelevant. The season doesn't start on Jan 1st and end on Dec 31st. We're not Man Utd or Chelsea we're Crystal Palace and lost our last three games to teams that are very likely to finish above us, one of whom are the league champions. We're doing OK so far and people need to stop worrying. Try being a Sunderland fan.

Nobody will expect us to get anything from Man C but there will be expectation that we can get something from Burnley and Swansea. Just thinking that IF we lose against Burnley and then against Man C (Expected) that will be 5 straight defeats and this will be a cause for real concern. Included amongst the next 7 games are matches against Man C, Man Utd, Southampton and Chelsea - very tough indeed ! Edited by Willo (03 Nov 2016 10.03am)
