Well, now Cabaye's taken a nasty knock...... and Jason's coming on

Really? He wasn't even fully fit.

Is Flamini still on the bench?

I'm sure we've been toilet. It's something Palace are known to be good at. I also won't be panicking until we hear that Dann will be out until Christmas at least.

Don't continue to be such a drama queen. God knows how you'd have coped if you'd have had a live forum feed from the away end at (among any number of worthy examples of absolute tonkings) Grimsby or when we've had to fill the whole bench with youth players 'cos we had no one else.

Turning up to the 1st ever fans forum to ask TF what the f*** is he doing wasting £2.2 mil on f***ing Akinbiyi that's where. It was in the Stephensons Lounge. And in admin before Jordan shouting encouragement at the weekly unknowns and shouting dog's abuse at the opposition. Us struggling v Walsall.

I wasn't expecting a polished performance like Sunday but I'm a bit surprised that there seems to be very little shape. Makes you wonder if this lot are at the same training sessions as Sunday's 1st XI - injuries notwithstanding. Shame really.

Fantastic that Southampton got a 2nd, it means we can forget about this pointless competition. The PL IS the priority if the club is to evolve, transition and grow.

For some of us, the Cup is the only thing left in football in this country that actually has a bit of the old magic still left about it

At least they took it seriously and it paid off. Back to losing ways again and no confidence going into next match.
Should play to win matches and truly shocking performance capped off with Dann getting injured, probably due to being over worked.
The commentator says limp performance and he is right.
Poor fans that made the effort to go deserved better.

I'm not going to have a go at Pards for this match. But for those of you all waiting to hear my genius exposition of this match, here it is:

well just one point anyway, and that is the midfield was sooooooooooooo crap that it put even more pressure on Dann and the back four. Are we going to lose Delaney as well now? Also, Mariappa used to do a very good job covering for Dann, but as I don't know all the reasons why he was let go I won't assign blame - maybe he had to go for fair reasons. This IMO was always a nothing match and the goal should have been to rest as many as possible and play as many as possible that needed game time - that would have meant Flamini... but there you go - just my ignorant opinion.

:-) TF had perfected that rabbit-in headlights panicked stare whenever a fan approached him, hadn't he?

You've seen so much crap mate - this is paradise by comparison!

Yeah I don't give a t0ss but do re: more players injured in the same line of defence as the ones already injured. Let's hope Dann and/or Tomkins are back f***ing asap or it's going to be exploited.

This reminds me of a couple of Holloway games in the Prem when even the very few players playing well ended up being sh1t because of no cohesion/support/showing a pass. Swansea at home was the worst.
