If we haven't swapped places with them that is.

Do you honestly think we don't know that Ashley is the underlying problem? Of course it's his fault, we all know it's his fault. He didn't invest 7 years ago and we went down, he brought in his cronies who knew nothing, he brought in yes men, he brought in Pardew when Hughton was doing a grand job, he daubed our amazing stadium with tacky shop adverts, he agreed to a legal loan shark's sponsorship of our shirts, he's agreed to sales of our best players and failed to replace them, he's based a transfer policy on his tat-mongering empire.

However, none of us have the money to buy him out, he doesn't want to sell and unless both of those things change there's very little we can do. We've protested, we've boycotted, we've walked out and nothing phases the fat Spurs fan. Until we pull together his inflated valuation of the club he's not moving.

And there are arguments that he's learnt his lesson. We've spent money on players that should allow a very good manager to get us back into the Premier League. That manager has been given cast-iron assurances that if and when we return his control won't be lessened.

But you crack on with your cliches, if it helps?

I'm a very content Palace fan who is far more pissed off with the fickle element on this forum calling for Pardew to be sacked and suggesting that our Chairman is out of his depth than with your plight. However they do belong here whilst you lot don't its as simple as that. Your interest in Pardew and invading his present clubs forum to vomit is proof of how low you are as supporters of a football club especially one who,as I said used to have some of the proudest men in the country.Ashley may have learnt his lesson but at the cost of your pride, thats why your here.

What utter tripe. I hope that the Toon fans contributing (rather sensibly) to this debate realise that not all Palace fans spout such claptrap

Jog on son, your so anti Pardew youd even sneak behind enemy lines and swallow if you thought youd get an extra vote.

What unmitigated horses***.

"invading" for goodness sake. Your argument is all over the shop. Ashley has learnt his lesson, but that has cost us our pride? How is that even possible? I'm here because I like Crystal Palace FC and advocate action to remove a charlatan who damaged my own club. I also don't like to see cliches and myths peddled about my club. Things like "Geordie only want a Geordie manager", or "Pardew did a good job at Newcastle", or "Geordies are deluded".

I'm sure you find it irksome when cliches about your fanbase are peddled by lazy journalists and ill-informed demagogues?

To the gallowgate person and all other Newcastle fans:

Listen I know it's grim up north, but you must have something better to do than come here and go on about an ex-manager of yours that you all wanted to see the back of.

You're like blokes who say 'yeah I never really liked her, I'm well rid of her' about a bird, yet you keep tabs of who she's banging now.

In reality you know that she was the best you had in a long time and it's unlikely to get any better any time soon, but you can't face this fact and so you lie ("I'm here in peace..." ) in order to try and save face.

The sad fact is it's incredibly transparent and everyone just wishes you'd have a nice hot cup of man the fvck up.

You'll be forever in my family's memories and it was an honor and privilege to play and lead in the red and blue
Yours sincerely

Not really. We're more like the blokes who warn their mates "Don't go out with this lass, she's mad as a bag of cats and has enough beasties in her lady garden to warrant an Attenborough series".

... Are you ok?

I do like Palace. I don't like Pardew. I've no idea what the Jellyfish comment is about given Newcastle fans have shown a spine whether or not our representatives on the field have. I think you're ignoring the salient point to instead engage in ad hominem attacks.

Newcastle fans warned that Pardew is limited tactically, will fall out with players, will make odd substitutions, will struggle to arrest a slide and will blame all of this on evrything from the players, the fans, the officials, even on "science".

It will only get worse and you're better off without him. Put pressure on your owner (who genuinely has the best interests of your club at heart, unlike our own) to make a change before it's too late.

That's about it Finchers.
ALL managers play players out of position.
ALL managers don't get on with certain players.
ALL managers have their favourites.
ALL managers make baffling substitutions.

Steve Coppell did all of the above and reverted to long ball tactics. Some of the football was dire and he 'got rid of'fans favourite/club legend Jim Cannon.
You can't be a manager without making unpopular decisions. When it works you're a hero when it doesn't you're out.

Signing up to another club's website to warn them is bonkers!

You fed me, you bred me, I'll remember your name.

As Palace fans we didn't appoint Pardew though, nor do we continue to employ him. If you are concerned on our behalf and need to warn somebody, you could try contacting his employers. Steve Parish is usually quite responsive on Twitter. Thank you for your concern but other than painting "Pardew Out" on a duvet cover there's not much we can do, and even then, I'm not sure that kind of behaviour wouldn't be detrimental to the club right now.
