No, he's on Eur300k per month according to the poster above Which, since people voted to improve our country and set the exchange rate at two and six, is very nearly £300k. OK, £250k to you. Surely not. Edited by Mapletree (30 Jun 2016 5.14pm) Why bring this round to Politics? Lets just rejoice that CPFC appear to be joining the "big club".

Goalkeepers and Defenders are usually a safe bet if they perform in the French league. Attackers not to much as it is so open and there are often 5 + chances for a striker a game, but the back 4 and keepers usually have their work cut out for them. He was the best keeper in the league made it in to their team of the season again, and is a quality buy! No doubt in my mind that we have a new no.1

You've got to laugh. This forum has spent a season wetting itself over our goalkeepers (despite one of them now representing his country in the last 8 of the Euro's) We sign a world class keeper and folks line up to go 'How much????'

That's bound to happen when you start spending serious dosh after years of parsimony. I'd say: About time!

I like to look at it almost as if, with the players we've let go, the wages we've saved basically pays for the players Townsend and Mandanda etc, or at least certainly helps.
