Would be a very exciting player to see how he progresses being so young. But how will this work as he seems a very different type of player to who we typically play upfront. We still need most likely another 1-2 strikers as spare. If we buy the 3 there saying how much money are we still willing to spend on some more defenders, another decent midfielder. In Steve & Co I trust but could this put us in a position where we may not get better quality elsewhere.

If we do miss out on Batshuayi, I fear that anyone else we go after will have an increased price tag as we've shown our cards. Would love these deals to come off, but even if they don't, Benteke, Slimani and Zaza should be in our price range.

Not sure we'll get him but the statement of intent is really a step forward. It shows the squad, the fans and other players that we are serious about being a Prem team. Great work SP
