Happy to let the lies go on. Fair enough.

I hope they at least pay you for your relentless propaganda.

The public don't want a man who still wants to, ahem, ban the bomb and negotiate with terrorists.

This thread is to highlight the media and their misreporting, lies and half truths. You could just say, 'oh dear what a bunch of crooks doing that's but rather than agree with the premise you change tack.

Strange how pointing something out that you find uncomfortable leads you to call it propaganda. Any reason for this?

The Mail does seem to fuel hatred. Unfortunately everyone leaning to the wrong side of the moderate left hates everyone who doesn't agree with them so you've got to be a bit of a cnut if you live by that ethos.

Really? Can you back this up?

Your endless tub thumping party political tirades are very tedious frankly.

Such allegiance to one party is a bit sad.

You haven't been on here very long if you think that.

I only returned to the Labour fold when their policies were closer to my political ideals.

It's also duly noted that you played the man rather than answering the points.

Very good.

What did you make of the Corbyn dancing at the cenotaph lies published by the mail and sun this week.

I don't read the Sun or Mail, but maybe they confused Corbyn at the Cenotaph with Ed Balls dancing on Strictly?

LOL

Well recently people were pretty sure that the US didn't want a racist, mysognistic arsehat to be president.... People were also pretty sure that the UK would stay in the EU.

Both were close in the end, but I think both victories came as rather a surprise to those 'who were sure what the public wanted'.

Although I think the 'ban the bomb' won't do him any good - Negotiation with 'terrorists' isn't necessarily unproductive. Sooner or later you have to deal with the issues that cause the problem, rather than the symptoms of the problem.

But certainly, he's probably right about Trident, but wrong on the nuclear option. We need really to look at a shift to a land based missile option (even if its more expensive). Trident as a solution is very much a cold war 'last strike' scenario - and lacks the kind of range of operation that would be useful to cover the middle East, and far east.

Also I'd expect to see Nuclear proliferation across the middle east. Certainly Iran and Saudi Arabia are well on the way.

If the US election has taught us anything, anyone is electable. A constantly lying egotist who's election promises were basically simple, unquantified, statements, opinion and often outright impossible or illegal, who was wracked with controversy, including sexual harassment, a fraud lawsuit and likely hasn't paid taxation in years was elected to the White House.

There are a lot of parallels between Corbyn and Trump in terms of the candidacy.
