In the town i live there are not one, not two but three stations! Maidstone East, Maidstone West and Maidstone Barracks two of them on the same line and about a 5 minute walk away from each other believe it or not. I have taken trains from 2 of them but yet to complete the full house, oh what an exciting time we live in.

When I moved to Selsdon I believed we had a train station, it was called Selsdon Station. But it wasn't near Selsdon, and it closed in 1983. I was so upset I moved to France. France has a railway station.
It is closed. It's France, it's August. France is closed. Do you think it will be open for christmas? I've had a word, and apparently they will open France again for Christmas. If they can be @rsed. The station is called La Gare, it's easy to find, just look for the trains. Maybe I'll see you there at Christmas. If I can be @rsed.

All the stations near me have German names, but I'm not in Germany.

I have just noticed that my previous post whilst very interesting is tarnished by the fact it is timed at 12pm. That really does annoy me. There is no such time as 12 pm. How can it be both midday (12 o'clock) and post midday (after 12 o'clock)? Train timetables don't make that error!!!

Anyway back on topic: There was once a station called London Necropolis. There used to be a station in Bromley by Bow called South Bromley but it seems they moved it and changed its name to Bromley South Edited by Dulwichsteve (07 Aug 2015 3.05pm)

Perhaps it should be renamed 12notmorningnotafternoon for clarity.
