Hopefully we he convince him that playing in a freeflowing counter attacking team with the likes of Bolasie would be nothing but fun.

Arsenal don't really need Cabaye,if Cabaye went there he would be up against Ozil for a first team place. he comes to us he'll get first team place. He'll be just another squad man at the Emirates.

How much we reckon he will be on at PSG? Believe he was on 40K a week already at Newcastle so imagine around the 100 k a week mark. Its not only a question of being able to afford it but also of keeping balance in the squad. I know there is massive TV money on its way but doubt this would be realistic. Having said that: brilliant signing it would be!

Ive read that Arsenal are also interested, and even though he is hinting towards Selhurst, Arsenal are a bigger side so why would he not go there

People are getting seriously optimistic over what is definitely an agent just stoking interest. Cabaye would be a first teamer at both Liverpool and Spurs and most likely Everton. All who are bigger clubs than us (yes I know everton finished below). HE could also have his pick of european teams below the top ladder. This aint happening.

Great work by his agent....using us to flush out offers from more of the bigger boys who can offer champions league football and far higher wages. That's the way it works.

Lot of comp in the middle - Cazorla, Ramsey, Wilshere, Flamini etc, but I think Cabaye could get the game time he wants at Arsenal - if Wenger seriously wants him then we'd be more like 100/1, hopefully Arsene's judgement will be as good as it was over Fabregas.

Well it would be an impressive signing for us, a player that's well known at higher levels... Last player I really had heard off before we signed them was Joe Ledley and James McArthur.
