I always loved the Sean Lock comment. We all know the charity collecters who accost you with a clipboard to get money as Charity Muggers- or chuggers. He suggests chunts is a much better term hahaha I have developed a fool proof rebuttal when approached, simply smile and say "We already give money to you guys". Their interest then ceases, no commission to be earnt you see.

And Lenny Henry is still NOT Funny. He is funny in the way, 'how the f**k does he still get work' kind of way. My mums cancer is funnier than Lenny Henry ever was.

After 3 months they sent me a letter asking if I could give more say £50 a month. Direct debit cancelled and now redistrubuted cheeky c***s.

At least they are doing something, more than 99% of people on this board, including the OP? I'd gladly be disproved of that by the way. Exactly. I've worked with charities and it's never those doing charity work that slag off people raising money for other causes. So you wind up with those not helping their neighbour or anyone elses for that matter, moaning about amazing and often life saving efforts. I've worked for a charity as a full time employee and some people seem to think that should also involve working full-time for nothing. The reality is,yes admin and staff costs eat up part of donations but most charity workers work for less than equivalent jobs in the private sector or even in the state sector. Exactly. Much easier to sit on your ass doing nothing, and moaning.
