A bogey team we don't have to worry about next season!

If they played like that all season they'd be no where near the drop - shows how important stability can be.

Very good goal. Fair do's.

Twas although we did back off a bit

All in all though we played some good stuff again and were the better side

Lots of optimism for next season

three or four astute signings to cover suspensions and injuries and it we start with the same focus, shape and spirit I really cannot see us losing more than 10 games next season.

...I'm pretty sure if today was a touch more precious we would of committed a bit more mayhem, but on today's performance Fulham should never be going down, keep their team and promotion next year should be easy.

I dont feel confident with Hennesey in goal, he just looks nervous in his body language, didnt really make mistakes, but can't see him doing wonder saves. When the cross from David came in the simple one, i thought he might spill it.

I'm not 100% confident with the new keeper, hope he proves me wrong

Just as well we don't determine a career on one game....remember Speroni against Everton all those years ago?

for the most part today, thought we were really poor. We've played better games and lost this season.
Bolasie, for me, was shocking.
Just my views tho.

We want Liverpool to win, don't we? So the Gerrard slip will always be remembered for the snatching away a league title victory error it truly was.

If they lose to the geordies it may just dilute its importance

Great season from the squad. Their 2nd goal was unstoppable and I thought Hennessy had a decent match. Gayle proved he could play the lone striker role and I though FFS played well when he came on.

Think that's rather harsh, on both counts.

We were OK in general, some lovely link up play in spells. I'd say since the City game our intensity hasn't been at the same insane levels - barring the big finale vs the scousers.

Yala had one of his nearly days, but then again he almost scored and our first came from the corner which resulted. Granted, he did find a few cul de sacs from promising positions second half.

Could not agree more he looked really sharp,a good pre season and might just have a good partnership.

Agree we weren't going to see the best of GM until very late this season and today (and Monday) he looked like the old GM
